It seems like he did care for her, and something to his credit is he doesn't seem to be willing to go into anything about past relationships and does his best to keep it on the down-low publicly instead of playing to fans. Part of what drew me to Cody was when he and his ex were breaking up, even though it obviously hurt, he didn't go into regular tirades. The very few he had were mild because he still respected her as a person. Things like this, how a guy handles past relationships with a level of respect, is a very attractive quality.

Who knows if he plays the field or not. I get the feeling he respects women a bit too much to casually play around.
