8. Cable
7. Colossus
6. Jean Grey
5. Professor X
4. Nightcrawler

I know that, but tell me when you think top 10 X-Men do you actually think Emma? I sure as hell don't.

By the way, the Beast in my list is pre-blue fur. The original!

I don't mind the blue fur, but I preferred him before he looked like a giant cat.

Who would you include in your top ten list?
I'd replace Jean Grey with Rachel Grey and Cable with Rogue. I'd also move Kitty Pryde above Emma in the ranking. The rest of it is fine.
You really think Rachel has done more for the X-Men than Jean!?

Not necessarily in order...
Cyclops
Emma Frost
Colossus
Psylocke (old purple hair and body armor version)
Wolverine (though he gets badly overexposed)
Mystique
Storm (punk days, early 90's)
And that's really about it for the characters that I really have an honest, strong feel for. Huh. :)

These are my ten favorite members, in "kinda sort" order:
1. Kitty Pryde
2. Nightcrawler
3. Beast
4. Colossus
5. Storm
6. Wolverine
7. Ice Man
8. Banshee
9. Cyclops
10. Jean grey
Multiple man would have been at the top of the list, but was he ever an offical member? Same goes for Wolfsbane. In fact, I'd take the entire X-Factor roster during the Peter David run than anyone on the X-Men. I loved that book. As well as the current one.

I'm also stymied by this definition question! Does X-Factor count? New Mutants? Excalibur? I'd probably say just X-men -- but in that case, Havok & Polaris definitely count. Though if you only think they were cool on X-Factor. . .yeah, I got nothing.

I'm not a huge X-men fan so I'm counting all X-teams. I think I'll go:
Iceman
Emma Frost
Multiple Man
Nightcrawler
Rogue
Quicksilver
... that's not 10 but I think that's it really.
