Not really an issue as such but a suggestion - I've browsed the forums and thought this was the most appropriate place to write this:
Currently I get my weekly fix of various Rev3 shows as they get mirrored on Bigpond (my ISP) @ files.bigpond.com. This is a files repository that gets added to manually as and when users make a request to Bigpond. It's meant more for freeware programs, linux distros, patches and other misc files; but various Revision3's episodes are there in the mix too.
May i suggest Rev3 officially partner up with Bigpond (Australia's largest ISP - huge user base), and offer like all the past episodes mirrored for fans of the shows downunder. or even setup a 'channel' like on bigpond.tv - which currently stream news, sports, music vids, etc but it would be nice to have a 'tech' channel filled with revision3's content.
Why this is an issue - download speeds aside; mainly because those of us in Australia have very restrictive monthly download quotas imposed by our ISPs. What's hosted on Bigpond servers don't count towards bigpond users' monthly downloads... which is great when an episode of each show are multiple hundred of MBs. And since Rev3's shows are essentially free to endusers, I thought it might be nice if Revision3 and Bigpond could partner up and offer its content officially on Bigpond; expand Rev3's user base and expose more Aussies to your shows. Which I think are excellent and we are definitely a long way off from having anything similar of our own.
