I just watched Nacho Libre for the first time last week, and all I got to say is that movie ****ing rocked. I've seen it four times since then, Jack Black is a comedy god! my favorite line in the movie has to be "Get that corn out of my face!"

I just thought I'd say this so you can go ahead and not like the movie anymore. I give a solid nine out of 10.

I know it ruled. We can agree on some things. Good to see that Nacho Libre is in that 1%.

Another line i cant get out of my head is "Hey... take it easy!"

That movie far outclassed Napoleon Dynamite and proves that jack black is comic genious.. Nacho had music that matched the movie in every was.. J.Lo Who played Ramses?? Is he a fmaous actor cuz that ***** is ugly!

King Kong was a piece of shit and Jack Black should stay out of acting except for stuff like Shallow Hal. Even then. meh. Tenacious D is all he should ever do, he's pretty ****in annoying and is one of those people who thinks he's funnier than he is. He seems like a great guy, but his humor is awesome in the context of Tenacious D. So keep it there. We'll see if Nacho sweeps me off my feet.

I wouldn't go that far, but I don't think he can hold a movie on his own at the lead role like School of Rock or so forth (haven't seen Nacho yet so that could be an exception). I like him much better when he's the silly costar or sidekick a la High Fidelity or Saving Silverman when you just get him in small doses, since overall he can be pretty overwhelming.

exactly. i've just hated his starring roles more than you i think. but that's exactly what i think. and king kong, jon? c'mon!

King Kong was great. Both versions are amazing. The Jeff Bridges one never happened though...
