Am I the only one experiencing slow speeds with Revision3? The forums work fine, but the site itself (and occasionally the downloads) has been taking a minute to load each page.

Yes, the flash players take like 30 seconds to buffer for me, and the pages are loading slowly.

Same here, I'm on Vista sp1 using IE and using cable with a 6Mbps connection. All other pages I go to work fine. I was trying to download Systm and it was going to take over an hour.

There was an issue with DNS which is now fixed. Is anyone still seeing slow load on the pages?

I've been getting awful download speeds for any of the episodes this week, average speeds below 100kB/s. I normally get about 1.3mB/s+ on my speeds and my connection can manage 2.4mB/s (see here (http://www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk/results.php?t=1208460688&v=4105305)). Whats happening is the traffic is spiking to 100-400kB/s for a fraction of a second then nothing for about half a sec.

It appears that Level3.net is having some issues on their network in

When i experience slow download speeds i usually switch bitcast-a to -b or -c which seem to be much faster for me. The difference is several MB/s. Is there something wrong with downloading from -b och -c?
I leave the podtrac-part of the URL intact because i'm guessing that podtrac keeps track of your amount of downloads and that's how you get advertisers.
Also, on another, slightly off-topic note. How come there are no seeds on the torrents? I've been seeding diggnation since i got it and so far i've uploaded it almost 15 times so there is demand.

I tried this out and the same thing happened to me (greater speeds with b and c). I contacted Chuck about this and here's what he had to say:
With regards to bitcast-[abc], it could be several reasons such as server load, network load, or location of where you're grabbing the the files from. Bitgravity utilizes anycast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anycast). So although we all might be trying to reach the same IP, the actual locations and servers are different.

Here's an example of a download from bitcast a and bitcast c

Stinks that I have to manually go in and change the link to get decent speed.

Just chiming in that for a couple weeks now I've had the 50kbs speed for my rev3 downloads. It makes streaming on my PS3 unbearable, and my PC doesn't cope well either. Changing the URL from -a to -c seems to help. Really hope this gets fixed soon.

I have been having slow download speeds for the last week (maybe 2) from Rev3. I am downloading at average speeds between 50 KB/s - 100 KB/s. Before I was download at speeds between 300 KB/s - 480 KB/s and all my other downloads from other places have been hitting those numbers.
I did a trace route to www.revision3.com and bitcast-a.bitgravity.com .

Well this only seems to happen around a new episode so I am guessing its because so many people are using bitcast-a.bitgravity.com that it goes really slow. Although doesn't rev3 have something to switches servers if 1 server has a lot of people?
