You've been scammed, I've been scammed, we've all been scammed... Who's man enough (or woman enough) to admit they've been scammed? Post your experiences being scammed here. It can be therapeutic to share it with others. Or at least humorous to us.

I was once tricked into eating dog food. I don't want to get into it...:mad:

I havent been scammed much but the one time I certainly remember being scammed was when some tool sold me a cd to some band on the street at a popular section of the nightlife here and played just a bit of 1 song which was good then I listened to the whole thing and the song was bad but all the other songs were just plain awful. Now if that wasnt bad enough...I went back to the area the next day and on the street right around the corner from where he sold it to me I saw a display of the band giving the cds away at the front door of some club...man if I saw that dude that day he would have had some limbs broken but now its more or less a joke to me and my friends who happened to be there to mock me...come to think of it...I think I still have the cd.

But I havent been scammed since even though many have tried...I am too skeptical of everyone now. :)

I did fall for the "I'm-a-outta-town-NYU-Student-with-AIDS-who-had-an-accident-and-the-AIDS-medicine-spilled-and-the-police-quarantined-the-car-and-I-need-my-medicine-and-no-prescription-but-CVS-will-take-cash-if-I-can-raise-$80-please-help" scam in Atlanta once.

I gave him $5 just for the story alone, and I had my doubts. But saw him 1 year later with the same story and was pissed and started saying loudly "Wow, the same accident spilling the same AIDS medicine in the same town... what are the odds of that!!!"

He at least had a slow period for the next few minutes.
