On a funny note, a professor came to ask me some questions today at work. Even though there are 6+ computers in the lab, I typically use my laptop for anything that is personal, so naturally I was on the forums when this professor came in. She sat down and we were talking for a minute or two until I noticed a look on her face. I realized she caught sight of my computer screen, and right there was that ad that says something about hot girls playing video games that is at the top of the forum pages sometimes. Whoops.

Nerdiest thing about me, well I have a two part answer to that:
1) My taste in music, I pretty much love everything.
2) I'm a Wine nerd. I stumbled upon it a couple years back when I found myself in Yakima Valley, Washington bored out of my mind waiting to see Warped tour in the Gorge. I heard about the wineries there so I decided "What the heck". Well I plan my trips to Washington so that I can go wine tasting now.

I don't know of any allergies. But something in certain pizza's makes me sick as a dog. I think I've narrowed it down to something in the sauce. Ass on that and I completely eat it anyway.
I cannot even begin on the nerd question. I am a pretty much the most ridiculous person on earth. I'm flighty, accident prone (seriously. Stairs scare the hell out of me and I imagine me falling to my death the entire time I'm descending them), I love the hell out of books and libraries make me gleeful inside, I am literally nervous riding the subway because of potential attacks from otherworldly video game monsters. I am not being silly or exaggerating at all.

I now have to finish the entire course work in as little time as possible, a month tops. I'm fucked.
Getting the assignments I now have to do I see why 3/4 of the class opted out of the exam. The exam gets you no credit, and is fucking impossible. Lets write an essay debating the semantics of word choice! Good times! I want to die. My college acceptance lies on this.

Yes, the Men's freshmen dorms are suite-style which is a priority and once you're a sophomore you can move into apartment-style dorms w/ a kitchen which is awesome (you can also bring whatever into the dorms. The freshman giving us a tour said that most of the guys bring their own TVs, 360s, fridges, etc and that theft isn't a problem)
They also have a 2:1 Girl:Guy ratio and despite being a Baptist school actually have frats and dorm policies that would make the Southern Baptist Convention lose it.

Well, the neighborhood Samford is in is pretty posh and it's only a few minutes away from this enormous mall (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Summit_(Birmingham)) so there is stuff to do.

Should say that the Johnnie DC line of books are actually a lot of fun considering the audience they are written for. I am enjoying Teen Titans Go! more than any other Titans book in the mainstream DCU right now.
Yes, I buy/bought 31st Century Legion too. But the main Legion book is EXCELLENT with Jim Shooter writing it. So the Johnnie DC version of Legion is merely an indulgence at this point. Mostly for the sweet Superboy action, natch.

All the Silver Age nostalgia. Bringing back concepts and characters from that era. I'm seeing a lot of stuff from the 70s and early 80s that was discarded and with good reason.
Why not do something new?

There's a message up about a problem that they're having, but what it comes down to (for me) is that they suck. THEY ALWAYS HAVE PROBLEMS.
If a company came along with the same product and a more stable infrastructure I think I'd hop over pretty quickly.
I'd be right there with you.

Let's make our own! We'll call it Fredder or Blairer.
"Dude, I totally Blair'd about this last night! I even put up a BlairPic!"
ok. I'll start work right away ... or else I'll do something else. ;)

The Silver Age stuff is mostly in All Star Superman. Doesn't show up in the main DCU too much. Unless you don't like Power Girl.
Nothing wrong with taking the most iconic and non-slutty Supergirl and building a line of books for young girls out of it.
Oh I agree. I dig Headband Supergirl and her Whitesnake groupie hair. Streaky... not so much.

I've been Blair'd twice. I still can't walk straight.

One time, I was Blair'd so much I lost my memory. I still don't remember anything about my life from 12 to 14 years old.
Another time I had something slipped in my drink and I woke up in a small port town in Mexico 6 days later. My wallet was gone, my right foot was missing a toe, I a bite mark on my nipple, and there was a note shoved in my belly button that read, "You've just been Blair'd!"

Preordering my Death of the New Gods HC right...now (http://www.dcbservice.com/category.aspx?id=1).
When you work with Fred, you find comments like this (below) buried in the code.
//end Fred changes from April 22 here//
//whoooooohooooo//
//you ever see that sketch from Kids in the Hall
//where the guys who eat nothing but ketchup
//and macaroni and cheese win a free lifetime supply
//of ketchup, macaroni and cheese, and tapeworm

There wouldn't happen to be anyone here willing to buy 60 books, 70 trades/GNs, and 80 movies/tv seasons is there? I cleaned out my closet, and realized I own way too much crap. Crap I won't be taking with me when I buy. Blech. Now I just have to find a way to sell this stuff.
