Fun episode.

As much as I hate the whole Rick Roll meme, there have been some creative ones out there. Rick Roll of the Week would be fun.

Episode 14 will be my last episode of the Digg Reel. If other people like this type of juvenile humor that's fine. I admit if I was twelve or fourteen I might have found this funny, but I'm not. The host pretending to masterbate was beyond ignorant. This type of humor is why I quit watching G4's Attack of the Show. A lot of people have made that same statement on the message boards before and I can't believe you'd approve of that type of humor. If this is the direction the rest of Revision3 is going into then I'm done with it as well.

GROW UP!

!!!!!

Next week, there should be an hour long show, with 50 minutes of Rick Astley fill. Please cancel this show.

The sad part is... I can imagine that happening... I mean, this week they showed like 8 or 9 videos and 4 or 5 of them had something to do with Rick Astley. There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of videos on Digg every week... I beg you, pick the funny, not the rick rolls...

Also, I don't think they should have mainstream videos on there. I like the videos on Digg so I can find websites with funny and original videos, and while mainstream videos are fine to look at on your own I think that this show should be a "Showcase" for original videos and it shouldn't have to leach off of material from the mainstream media, like the Daily Show, Jimmy Kimmel live and CNN.

As long as the comedic timing continues. Rick roll of the week wouldn't be bad as long as it is the innovative ones( muppets, most destructive fps weapon, tiki roll,etc.). Did I just use innovative to describe a rick roll?!? Hmmm..... Anyways, The Digg Reel to me is about the latest viral vids/memes. Every week my mediacenter in partner with Miro has The Digg Reel(plus many other rev3 shows) ready to roll.

FTW

Vote +1 rick roll of the week. As much as I dislike the Rick Astley song, and being Rick rolled, I've had to embrace it as part of today's pop culture (gosh I feel old saying that).

Personally, I didn't find 'teh funnah' in the Myspace meetup busted video, or the poking fun of fox news (The Chaser's boys do it better IMO); but rick rolls bring out the lulz for me.

As for the shows hosts - they should play down their comedic genius skills and concentrate more on bringing us more vid clips. I didn't think much of plastic-smiley-faced Jessica, nor do I think much of the current host who's name currently escapes me... I've watched Diggreel from EP1 - and I did so because of the content. It's kinda like [insert your country's name here]'s funniest home videos; but the internet edition of that. The host trying to be funny is just an annoying distraction to me. The show could be introduced by no one - just a voiceover and I'll continue to watch if the content delivers.

Am I the only one that just doesn't care what is done? I enjoyed the show with Jessica, enjoy it now. Rick Roll or not I'm watching.

Well considering the content is something the advertiser looks to before advertising...

And seeing as the advertisements keep coming in each episode of the Digg Reel then...

And taking into account that programming on the show has differed very little from host to host...
As well as the fact that the demographic that they want to reach watch exactly shows like this...

Yes. I think I would be satisfied. I think you give the advertisers, and the show, way less credit than they deserve.
