How to build your own lightsaber from readily available parts, what to do with those obsolte vinyl records, and in Rad Science, a look at why too much water is bad for you.

Watch and download the episode here. (http://revision3.com/popsiren/birdback/)

Awesome episode!

I especially like the part of the show having drunk chicks...

Burp contest?

H2O is spelled with an "o," not a "0." There's an error on the page of the episode.

jesus the audio levels need to be adjusted.. The very first part is all quiet, so I turn the volume up, then the intro song starts and BAM its loud as hell, and then the show starts and the sound level is somewhere in between

Best episode ever!!!

Unfortunately, I tried to combine the beer drinking with the lightsaber building, and now I have to type with my nose...

Getting better each episode.

A little bummed the light saber ended up being so thick, but I'm sure she tried to get one down to the 1"ish size and just found it tough for the average joe.

Neha built a light broadsword, not a light saber.

Great show this week, definitely the best so far. My only note is that something seemed off about the first part of Neha's segment. It seemed like the very beginning, when she would have introduced the guest, was cut off and over all it just felt a bit rushed and too short. However, the second part, when she was outside, was great.

The lightbroadsword ... when you absolutely, positively have to kill every mutha@%$@# stormtrooper in the room. :p

This week's Rad Science was the most interesting thus far. (I worry about dying from random things, I guess I'm a hypochondriac???) and recently had a lot of water and started worrying about the whole Wii Death thing (http://kotaku.com/gaming/contest/criminal-investigation-into-radio-wii-death-229694.php) but yes, it was really interesting. I get the feeling the show is a bit too long, though.

PopSiren is a long show, but I feel like it needs to be. Its got a little bit of everything, and sometimes a filler segment is necessary to maintain a good rhythm. For instance, although drinking beer on the internet is hardly original, it served as awesome comic relief to the more cerebral stuff Dr Kiki was talking about. Everyone in the popSiren crew should really pat themselves on the back for this episode.

Actually, I wouldn't mind if the show was a little longer. There have been a few times in various episodes where the segments felt a bit rushed to me. Dr Kiki's segments in particular would, IMO, be better served by taking a bit more time and going more in depth with the topic at hand.

If anyone, like me thought "wow, that program looks good for being free" you were right. After downloading it, without paying, for a look, I found that saved images created using it have "Picturesque" in white across them. It is a shame though, because it is a really handy program.
I would buy it, but its not worth it to me, and at the moment, I'm not the richest person in the world.

The Popsirens have a real talent for keeping a guy smiling on the long commute home. Thanks for that. :)

The "Diggnation" homage was priceless, with the beer..and the belching.

Dear deathnote,
I wouldn't say such things. I've heard there's this moderator here who possesses a certain supernatural notebook which could theoretically make life difficult (short) for popSiren naysayers. That's probably just a rumor though. I'm putting myself at risk just by mentioning it.

Sarah, you need to get some custom made ear buds!

Ultimate Ears UE-11 PRO would be great for you.

You visit an audiologist, who makes a mold of you ear canals - these molds are
then used to make your custom fitted ear buds! No more falling out :) Not to
mention they are probably some of the best sounding ear buds available.

Seems Dr. Kiki Sanford answered questions 1st International Exercise-Associated Hyponatremia Consensus Development Conference couldn't answer.

I can't be the only person who went straight onto that Revfad Flip thing to do their Facebook status can I? Within 10 minutes I've had 4 replies. I'll drag it out a bit before giving popSiren and Sarah the credit for telling me!

I liked Jessica's Willie Mays reference in this episode. I started cracking up when she said that. In case anyone doesn't get the reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dK6zPbkFnE

Great segment re: Grand Buffet. I saw them open for Of Montreal last year and thought they were great. I picked up three of their albums from emusic.com since then. They are definitely worth checking out.
