At least cory made it funny at the end. But i swear, that was the most painful match i have ever scene. I wonder what was wrong with the guy, there had to be a reason for it. I cant imagine that you do all that MMA training and make it into the UFC without getting into a few matches so people know what your about.

I didn't get to watch any fights, and this live, text, play-by-play works for me in the meantime. From that read, Jason Day looks to have made an impression.

I'd say Systm needs a new co-host but he's see the soldering iron, realize the possibility of pain and run backwards.

This is basically my take on the whole thing:

Quarry is a fucking MONSTER in his weight class, the guy is built like a tank and looks comfortable. I'd be shitting bricks if I was in a fight with him too, but in the UFC and in MMA as a whole, you're there to fight. If I was in the ring, in my current out of shape state I still would have gone after him for one reason:

UFC is in CANADA. I'm CANADIAN. I'm not just fighting for me, there's an aspect of "I'm fighting for all of Canada" to the whole situation. I'm not going to pussy out in my home town. To draw a parallel, it would be like the Canadian national hockey team phoning it in at the Vancouver Olympics in 2010. That would just be the most pathetic, deflating thing in history.

Gonzaga and Kevin Jordan when they didn't throw for 1 minute, Herb grabbed them and had a talking to them. Then the fight ended in that superman ko. :rolleyes:
