Sarah's headphones.

Watching the amazing INXS video by the Rev3 crew I noticed that Sarah Lane had a pair of Sony headphones. As I am looking for new high end headphones I was wondering if anyone knew the model of the pair she had. I know they're Sony branded because at one point she puts her head down and the "SONY" logo is printed on the top.

I'm guessing that while working in a high production environment, you'd want a more than decent pair of headphones so you can be very detailed with your production work. Those may be the headphones I'm looking for as a I get deeper into audio and video production.

Most 'pro' studios use standards over time which may not be that great actually. The Ford of stuff: Works, good results, everyone else has it, relatively cheap. I can't make it out, but if you see a Sony in a studio it's usually going to be either a Sony MDR-7506 or MDR-7509.

The 7506 is by far the most common studio headphone.

The 7509 is a larger, more comfortable and mellower-sounding phone used often by session musicians.
