If anyone out there is a fan of the James Robinson and Tony Harris Starman series, check out my new podcast, The Shade's Journal! In it, I will discuss all 82 issues of the regular series, plus all annuals, crossovers, and one-shots.
Also, I plan on doing special "Spotlight" episodes on other important characters throughout the series, with the first "Spotlight" being on David Knight in episode #3.
Feel free to give me any feedback! The first show's a little rough, but episode #2 covering issues 0-4 will be out sometime this week, hopefully.
You can find it on the Deliberate Noise Network Readerfeed or at:

or

Hey, if most anyone wanted to submit anything to the show, I'm all over that. It'd just be that much cooler if it were someone along the lines of Josh! :D

In this episode of the Shade’s Journal, host Matt Kramer apologizes for his lengthy absence before discussing Starman #13, Sins of the Child, Part 2: Ted’s Day. Also in this episode, a brief history lesson on Dr. Phosphorous and a little information about where else you can hear Matt talk about Starman lately! (Hint: Look below this!)

It was a good episode of Around Comics, btw. Too much content to fit in time slot, but that means the topic is rich.
I hope your show's going well!

Tom from Around Comics' "versus" podcasts (JLA & Flash) inspired me to walk through 1980s G.I. Joe file cards in podcast form. I'm not as funny as Tom, so I convinced a couple friends to join me.
The latest podcast features Beach Head:

Hey iFanboyers (is that a word?)
Just wanted to do a cheap plug for my podcast The Atomic Geeks. It's a show about 4 guys drinkin' beer and discussing TV, Movies, Comic Books, Videogames and everything in between. We try to pride ourselves on doing unique topics to cover this subject matter like for example:
-We do movie Re-dos (we task ourselves to re-work Indy 4. Changing the script- keeping what worked and ditching the rest)
-We figure out the 2 superpowers we would want and craft our origins
-We get a time machine and have to decide where we would go in the future and the past
-Versus episodes where we determine the winner in fights like the 3 Stooges vs The Ghostbusters
-Guilty Pleasure episodes - where we admit our love for shitty entertainment
We would appreciate if you could check us out-

I've posted a few times about the G.I. Joe podcast that me & some friends make, but I also have another podcast (kind of my "main-gig podcast") called A Very Serious Conversation.
It's a general-topic kind of thing, but this week's episode is about comics, entitled "Things We Learned From Comics". Check it out here:

From Marvel Knights, the Book Of The Month for July is Sub-Mariner: The Depths written by Peter Milligan and art by Esad Ribic. This title is a must-have for any fans of Namor or eerie horror movies, because you get the perfect combination of both in this underwater thriller!
Stay tuned at the end for the contest!

Hey guys, sorry to be a lame-o trying to pimp my own shit, but if you guys are willing I'd love to hear your thoughts.
http://jurassicalien.libsyn.com/
The show isn't long, first episode is 40 minutes. So if you like it let me know, if you have advice let me know. I trust everyone's taste here, so yeah. The show does have some cursing so just letting you know.

Glad you dug it man, I'm going to try and do more round table episodes cause I have a group of friends, all very opinionated. I'm going to try and do at least two episodes a week, one regular one and one with a guest. The first official episode is up now.
Again thanks for taking the time to listen.

Nice episode. You seem to be going through puberty or having a Victorian fit, which is nice despite the weirdness.
You seem comfortable at the microphone which is good.
It would help if the length of the episodes were posted in the libsyn posts.
The transitions between segments are a bit too short sometimes and the audio is too low sometimes.
The change in volume from the movie talk to the louder comics talk is jarring.
It would be nice if the files had names that told me straight away from which podcast they are - JAS or Jurassic or JurassicAlienShow or whatever with "podcast" and a number, maybe... Don't know.

Thanks for the advice, I'm aware of the audio hicups in tone and volume, had to record in different rooms at different times, no excuse just explaning, I'll be sure that does not happen again.
As for the time code in the libsyn post, you're right, didn't even think about that, so thank you.
Expect episode two (with better audio) on Sunday.

You can check out a little video me and my friends have been working on for a few months, it's about 13 mins long, and I hope it's worth everyone's time. Please check it out, it was a real labor of love, and coming Wednesday, episode 4 of "The Jurassic Alien Show!".

Thanks. My memory might be deceiving me, so take it with a salt shaker...
Nice video.
I can't understand the mother's line after the "you're both helpless". The line the guy in the leather jacket says is a bit hard to understand - when he's lifting the weight.
Lots of background noise, and a bit of a shaky camera. Also a weird time to smile - in the "you're both helpless" line. Don't know if you wanted it this way or not... It isn't a big deal.
Nice editing.

My name is Annie, and I produce a podcast called Comic Book Riff Raff. I get together with three co-workers and we talk about a different comic every episode. Our tastes are fairly different, so it makes for a good mix.
So far, we've covered: G.I. Joe Silent Interludes, Suppli (josei manga), The Big Book of Losers, Kingdom Come and the Black Panther. On Monday a new post is going up about WE3 by Grant Morrison.

Hey there -- I don't have my own podcast, but I recently recorded a guest spot on Hour 42 (http://hour42.com/), which is a cool show that covers a lot of geek topics.
We talked about the week's news in comics, some of the worst moments of the years, and a long segment on the 2010 Marvel Women initiative.

I host a pop culture podcast covering music, comics, games, tv/movies, whatever. Check it out if you'd like.

Hey everyone, I recently did an interview with Ray Wise, it was on my first podcast "The Cameron Rice Show!" (http://www.jurassicalien.libsyn.com/) But I now have it up in the feed for my second show "Cameron watches movies" (http://www.movienoise.com/2010/04/27/cameron-watches-movies-the-ray-wise-interview/) check it out at either location. I'm thinking about doing a second interview where I take questions from you guys. I can't guarantee that'll happen, but it's very possible, so if you have any questions for Ray, shoot them my way via twitter or PM me or whatever and they will be asked.

Hey all,
I've been a fan of iFanboy for a few years, and my friends and I were inspired to make our own podcast. We've been doing it for almost a year.
Our website is www.rackpackcomics.com. The episodes can be found at http://rackpackcomics.com/?page_id=3 and also in iTunes by searching for Rack Pack Comics. We post episodes usually biweekly.
We call ourselves comic entertainment. Rack Pack Comics Podcast is a talk show highlighting, and commenting on, recent comic book news and comics-related events. Jim (myself), and my two friends, Allan and Justin try to bring the best out of this culture with information and satire. The general atmosphere for the show varies from highly analytical to preposterous. We form an ensemble of different views and opinions, which leads to varied viewpoints. Our conversations revolve around comics, but stem sometimes to other general topics.
Our most popular segment is our take on "Pick of the Week" that we call "Dick of the Week" where Allan, Justin and I discuss who we think is the biggest dick since we last met. We then post our nominations and the listeners get to vote.
We most recently had Mike Perkins as a guest host on our show.
Thanks for your time, and I appreciate any feedback/reviews/e-mails that you have to offer!

I'll throw mine into the mix. I found some good stuff in this thread.
My show is called All Caps Podcast (http://allcapspodcast.com/) and is a supposedly weekly discussion of news, politics (left leaning), and pop culture with a lot of ranting, vulgarity, 80s/90s nostalgia, and humor (hopefully).
