Well, not the host, but certainly one of his closest friends... I've been going back to the early days of Ubersoft (the web comic) to see how it ll began. I agree with Jeff Anderson. But who I saw, from the minute he walked on stage in St Louis at the live Diggnation:
Chris Wylde, from The Chris Wylde show. Which I doubt anyone remembers from Comedy Central. He was also the guy in Coyote Ugly who screams with Johnny Knoxville.
