Attractive witty knowledgeable intelligent outgoing charismatic curious the list of positive qualities go on. Since I first say her when she started Mahalo I was always jealous in a way of how talented she was, to be quite frank. Its great to see her on Tekzilla. It always seemed like Tekzilla while getting better as time went along was still always a bit lacking compared to some of its past equivalents IMO. Now there seems to be hope for it to meet or beat its ancestors and competition alike.

Yeah, it's more skin, but also think of the extra cool geek points for thinking ever so slightly out of the box. Even among the cosplaying trekkies, this particular style often gets overlooked.

The "Uniforms" aren't hard to come by, it's just coordinating this effort is a pain. The hardest part is getting Veronicas measurements.
We're definitely going with Original Series (although I'm still going to push for my Mirror Universe idea) but we still need to know which color to go for. Yellow for Command or Blue for Science? No Red, bad mojo, `tis cursed.
I'm sure there's a thread for this somewhere, but perhaps we as the fans should tackle all the details and then send all the critical data to the appropriate parties. If we do all the legwork, I'm sure we can get this done alot faster.
1. Get Veronica to Settle once and for all on what style/color uniform she wants. (Original Series or Mirror Universe)
2. Have her provide measurements.
3. Shop around various Trek/Sci-Fi websites for Trek Costumes, get best price for best quality.
4. Provide Veronica/Dvorak with findings/price and wait to see how long it takes for it to get paid for and shipped.
5. ????
6. Profit.
Again, if a thread hasn't already been started elsewhere, we should start one to coordinate efforts. Alot of us want to see this happen, so why not chip in to get it done faster?
damnedeyez

2. Have her provide measurements.
I don't think we'd really need that...unless you were actually buying it for her.

On Twit Leo mentioned how Pat and Veronica are the next gen of Kate and Leo.
I think that is a fair comparison.
Though I think Veronica is much better of a host than Kate was, and kate was pretty darn good but didn't have that great enthusiasm V has and as mentioned billions of times in various ways..Veronica is very easy to the Eye. ;)

I'd agree that the talent is probably better or at least on par, but I don't think anything could beat those days of TSS. The simple reason why is that was the perfect time for a video show about computers. Now with technology being more ubiqutious, complex and multidimensional, and the internet offering hundreds of ways to absorb content and news, you just don't have the perfect storm brewing for a tech show anymore like back then.

Eh? The above could only be an insult worse than death if you're a Mac Ze...
... Oh yeah :p
Bring it on man - I can even sit through a whole episode of "Sex and the City" without clawing out my eyes!
Anyway:
I was drawing parallels in the tech industry, and the MS bosses were the easiest reference. What I meant voice wise was that if you take say Steve Jobs... excuse me, Steve May His Name Be Praised And Strike Down All The Unbelievers Jobs, then in addition to his vastly superior presentation skills he sounds significantly more relaxed talking to an audience, be it of one or a thousand, than Gates or Ballmer. Ballmer is visibly and audibly tense when he presents and that shows through in a more forced voice which comes from the throat and nose than the chest. Both Gates and Ballmer sound more than a tad nerdy to start with, but they make it worse when speaking in public.
A more direct analog is perhaps CNET's Molly Wood. I know she's a trained journalist unlike Veronica, but Wood sounds significantly more at home in front of a mic. It's not the character of Veronica's voice itself I'm talking about, it's about the delivery when presenting. She seems to share the same problem, relatively speaking (nowhere near the same results though obviously), as Ballmer.
Just my 2c.

For example if you visit her "personal" sites online, such as her flickr, twitter or "about" section on veronicabelmont.com, it would not be hard to assume she is a young, charming, single web girl. This is exactly the illusion you want to portray to this particular crowd.*

I know it's churlish, but the only thing I don't like about Veronica is her voice. It's very tense and nerdy in a sort of female version of Ballmer and Gates.
*runs away before the rotten tomatoes and eggs find their mark*
I have to say I like her voice (forgive me veronica close your eyes), I think she has a very cute yet sexy voice.

Patrick you da man.
There satisfied
He's just not the eye candy of the show for straight men anyway.
but I respect his knowledge and personality.
don't get me wrong Miss Belmont has Knowledge and a great personality and I’m sure she would rather be recognized for her brain rather than have a bunch of nerds and geeks drool over her myself included. Though I could be wrong.
Oh and send me an IM when she agrees to where the star trek uniform I would be willing to chip in let me know account # to wire $ to and its there.
