I know that alot of you will give me shyte for getting it. Will anyone else get it on the day of release?

I wanted to get it on launch day but I think i'm gonna wait a few days and use my mate's virgin mega discount. Although I have to wait till ****ing march! Until then i'll get an xbox360

I reserved one then changed my mind.... i heard they were shipping with power problems. its always better to wait till they work out the bugs.. I envy you though. it looks so hot! PS3 will own XBOX once Sony gets its act together..

Involving the problems that MAY come with the PS3, I’d rather get one of the first PS3's because it comes with a ONE year warranty and I can get an extended Sony Manufacturer warranty. So I don't care.

speaking of problems did anyone see the video of the people taking apart their ps3. The Fan is absolutely huuuuge!

The system is worth picking up, but not now. Resistance Fall of Man isn't worth spending 600 bucks to play and the other launch titles are either on the 360 or look like shit. Odds are if you don't have it pre-ordered right now, even if you wanted one you won't find it in stores until January or later.

Phuq pre-ordering shyte! I have a freind that works at Sony and i will be getting mine on the release date. as for the games in the launch window, no big deal. i really want it for the HD movies. i have a 60" 1080p tv and i t will be worth it for me.
i did not want to get the 360 because i have to buy toooooo many add-ons (that means alot of cables and cords). I feel bad because i am always coming out of my pocket buying shyte. i can stand that shyte.
If Sony does it right the first time, I am glad i waited a full year.

Why oh why do I have to be a starving college student? I'm not really interested in any of the launch games, but so far it looks like I'll never be able to afford one of them fancy PS3's. Actually, I can't afford any of the new systems. :(

I want a ps3, in a year or two. Getting it now is pointless. Its prone to failure, has no games besides resistance, and i don't yet have a good hdtv. So I'll wait.

If the Paint srcatches that easy imagine how much else was skimped on in the console..good old sony and their planned obsolescence...just so you will buy another so they can brag how many consoles they sold.;)

I Never liked the PS2, I bought the Xbox, instead. But I got it for modding, NOT for the games.

Don't buy it right away. I mean, we had to wait a year with the 360 to get a game that was truly next gen.

What? Damn you Xbox D!CK riders had the 360 for a year and nothing till the end of the year. well I hope that I will not be waiting much longer.
Sorry for being so mean, but I feel alot of people out there are mad at the Sony.

This crap cracks me up. Seriously. Scratches?? The PS3 sucks because it gets scuff marks. Sony's going RIGHT into the deepest bowels of the toilet for sure now.:rolleyes:

Hey did you also know it has a funny smell to it when you take it out the box? What a piece of ish Sony is.....
