I loved 4 but this is kinda pushing it, if it's even true.

The fourth one wrapped it up about as well as you can wrap up a saga like this. I'm really not sure where they could go with it from here ...or why.

And this coming from a person who thought Rambo 4's story was amazing.

[POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT!!!]

Weren't you just hoping that at the end, when he was walking along with his bag, that the cops would pull him up for vagrancy, thus starting the whole saga again?! That would be so sweet!

Rambo 4 was really boring and badly made and ugly in every possible way. That the guy who made Rocky Balboa could make such a hateful bunch of arse is astonishing. Even the action in that movie is terrible. ("Look at me, sitting on my turret for twenty minutes!") This franchise should be straight to DVD. It's where it belongs.

I take it you didn't like it then.

For me Rambo 4 was entertaining and more than a little disturbing. Sure the dailogue was piss poor, but it had plenty of "guns n shit" which made me a happy man indeed!

So I say, roll on Rambo 5

The first one was the only one I liked, I guess it's just not my style.

Hmm, I don't know. I don't think the old man can pull it off again... err.. at all.

That would have been great.

I dunno. I'm guessing 5 will end up being the terrorist romp we were spared in #4. Think Flight 93 with Rambo on board.

I think this is the largest number of positive things I have ever seen said about Rambo #4.

... I will not contribute to that.
