Duuuuuuude. Make him an offer he can't refuse.

What about Kevin? He looked good as a co-host on Tekzilla. Does he have the hardware knowledge to be the co-host of Systm?

Veronica Belmont?

Veronica Belmont?

I'd say no, solely because Systm is hands on DIY and Pat and her already host a show. I'd definitely want to see someone like Dave, someone that clearly just enjoys getting his hands dirty in various projects.

I wouldn't mind her, but I don't think so. She mentioned on this week's TWiT she is going to be soon working at a Main Stream Media outlet, and Tekzilla is just a side project. It seems like it would be a lot of work to do two side shows, in addition to her new MSM job during the week.

What, just because she is a woman she can't do hands on stuff? She said her education was in audio engineering. While I have no idea of the background of her program of study, I assume she at least understands the concept of signals and evaluating systems as having a transfer function which acts both in time and frequency, which is the foundation of pretty much everything in not only electronics but applied sciences as a whole. I'd say she's hella qualified for system as a DIY production, although I agree she seems definitely lacking in time.

Anyway, I'm all for Revision3 taking out the second mortgage and buying up Bill Nye the Science Guy. How sweet would that be. (Now you know while I'll never be the CEO of any company.) He recently retrofitted his historic house to be green and its a pretty interesting read as to how he did so. Simple things like diverting your gutters to collect rainwater for plants can really open your eyes on how simple and practical some of these solutions can be.

Well, Kevin and Dan Huard were the original hosts... so I'd say yes ;)

Perhaps you should continue reading before posting. I also said that her and Pat already host one show together and that I'd prefer someone that clearly enjoys getting their hands dirty building stuff for projects, like David did. I did not mention that it's because she is a woman, you did so perhaps you think she might be less capable. My point was she doesn't come off as the type of person who would enjoy doing hands on projects like what Systm has done in the past.

Honestly, I'd like Kevin to step in. If not him, then bring back Jeff Cannata.

Watch the first few episodes of Systm... Look who the host is :)

Obligatory Ramzi nomination. We need a solid episode on crude but effective instruments for breaking into buildings.

Huh? Bring back Jeff Cannata. If my memory serves me, he was never on Systm.

Anyways, I agree with Kronos and stromadvisor. It'd be awesome to get Yoshi. Though, I'd also like to see Kevin do it. Is it just me, or does it seem like there is he Revision 3 group and then Kevin and to a lesser extent Alex, are in their own little grouping? Think about it, we never see either of them at the Rev3 offices. Anyways, it'd just be cool to see Kevin do something more then just hanging out.

I'd love to see kevin come back too but i believe Kevin dropped it because he didn't have the time for it if my memory serves me. I doubt much has changed since then.

I think they should bring Dan Huard back.

I say they need to hire a person who is a tech gadget maker and DIYer they meet at the maker faire. I personally would like to see a female leader for the show and have patrick be second because he already is doing Tekzilla and with his son I would think chillaxxing might be needed for the man.

I firmly say again I want a Maker Faire Alum of the Female Gender as the new host.

Girls with tech rule and I want to have something I can keep to show to a future progeny of the little girl variety in the future to show her tech and electronics is cool for girls too.

Also we need less Computer gamer stuff and more electronics making, maybe some more alt energy projects too! Needs more solder!
