Yahtzee reviews SSBB and pretty much agrees with Alex and Dan, albeit in a much harsher way.

Bashing (metaphorically) Nintendo fan boys makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

I don't get how liking this game makes you a fanboy.

It doesn't but like anything successful there is alot of people who hate on things to be different and think it's cool.

oh my god, someone doesn't like something you do!?!?!?!? that person must be a rabid fanbiy basher and is just saying thtat to be cool an different, because obviously they can not have their own opinion that is just ludicrous. How dare he bash on a mediocre game.

The game is great IMO but that was not what I was attacking.
I enjoyed Yahtee's review(all of his stuff is meant to be comedy and satire obviously) and found it funny hell I am have a good friend who detests the Wii and I don't care he has reasons why he dislikes it.
I was saying there is many people who hate on various things because it's successful and the thing to do..like in sports it the thing to do to hate on the Yankees or the Pats as a couple examples..I don't care if a person dislikes something I do but when they use personal attacks and stamp labels on people is when you know those people are just doing it just to be rude because they find it fun.
But it is true about anything Nintendo much like Apple if one person likes it and defends their opinion they get attacked more and labeled a fanboy so easy.
granted many of them do go overboard also but can people just have different opinions and stop with the personal labels on both ends?

Apart from Yahtzee's total lack of appreciation and recognition of the intricacies of fighting game systems I really liked this ZP ep. as much as I always do.
Edit: At the end of the day, ZP is probably better with a touch of charming ignorance to fuel the rants...

Liking Smash Bros. doesn't make someone a fanboy, however if you are under the impression that rabid Nintendo fanboys don't exist then I can only imagine that today is your first time on the internet. Being that SSB is basically designed to be a Nintendo fangasm, it was inevitable that it would be herald as 'bigger than jesus' by some no matter how it played, and those people deserved to be ridiculed for our amusement.
Reading through your post made me think of this. (NSWF)

You fail to read.
"granted many of them do go overboard also but can people just have different opinions and stop with the personal labels on both ends?"
And the video proves my point and was lame.

You fail to comprehend.
I read that, and answered your question, no we can't.

It looked more like you were assuming something like I am "new to the internet"
And when I said they can go overboard also that was saying the Nintendo/Apple fans or fans of whatever.
And yes they can.
I could have gone the other approach and called names also but I didn't.
So therefor I proved it can be done and guess what it's rather easy also.
But I guess it's not the cool way to do it now is it?;)

Yeah, I'm not doing this anymore, this has got to be the most ridiculous argument I have ever had on a forum, and thats saying a lot as I clearly enjoy starting them.

this review kind of mirrors the way i feel about the game. i felt it was unplayable
and i liked the part about how the only way to get good at it is to become "that guy"

Spot on review , nothing about on-line thought for "that guy"s looking for other "that guy's to brawl against.
Side note, I did bring this game to a party (co-workers friends etc.) unlocked all the characters before hand (yeah) then after about 6-7 drinks some wacky tobaky a dude I worked with that was talking all week about "beating me at brawl" wanted to settle the score. Great he sober, me a little (ok a lot) drunk off my ass needless to say I was beaten (well I had trouble holding the damn controller) now he won't shut up about it , yes a rematch will take place, and he will be PWNed by a toon link. Just a little side note about how SBB if good times :)
