Indiana Jones - Triad Movie Night

So in lieu of "Indiana Jones and Kingdom of Crystal Skull" being released I thought it pertinent that everyone do a triad movie night of all the Indy movies.

So get it any way you can, bamboozle, swindle or even pay. Invite your friends, relatives and people you don't like. Grab a whip... err.. I mean popcorn and licorice and enjoy a "just because it's awesome" flick.

Sounds good to me...a few friends and I were already planning on watching the trilogy a night or so before we go out to see Kingdom...great idea, none the less that everyone should do before going to see Indy IV.

Did that the other night with my mom's old VHS collection. Couldn't stand how it looked so I went to 3 different walmarts and targets near me and all 6 were sold out of the DVD sets. So I ended up getting them and now It makes me want the box set even more. They will be mine. Oh yes, they will be mine!

That's a great idea! I think I could persuade the local theatre near me to do a midnight trilogy showing. They do deals like this every once in a while. Have a set price and get a drink and popcorn too.

So far I have the first Indy movie on dvd. So I'm beginning to collect.

Me and a group of friends always do film marathons before seeing the latest sequel, I really recommend it. Worked wonders for Rocky and Rambo. Star Wars was definalety more of an exercise in stamina, and Indy obviously has to be done.

I almost watched the three today...I was up, awaiting a FedEx delivery (required a signature and they claimed they attempted yesterday, even though I was up and home and waiting.)

It was tempting, but I opted for other movies...but, since I have the four disc set, I still intend on doing a trilogy soon (even though I won't see the new on in theatres...but will pre-order the DVD when I can)

I have done the trilogy thing three times since filming of Indy IV began. I think I'll do it again before I see IV.
