Ok, so Jessica Corbin was a little rusty at first, but after the first few episodes of the Digg Reel she seemed to become more comfortable and really made the show great.

I've tried to give this new guy a chance, but he just isn't funny. He isn't funny, he isn't cool, he should never be allowed in front of a camera.

Rev3 should bring back Jessica or find some kind of new host. That cute chick from "Podcast Salad" or maybe even the old host from "Talk Soup" John Henson. Hell, they could take a bum off the street with turrets and a severe bowel disorder and he'd do a better job that that piece-of-shit jack-off that they have hosting the show now.

You need to calm down. First off, I don't know what a bowel disorder has anything to do with anything. Second off, I agree, A host with turrets would be awesome! Imagine the fire power! I think that the guy with turrets should have a show where he just blows things up... Now that would be awesome...

it's like listening in on a parent/teacher conference about your shitty behavior issues (and bowel problems). can someone at rev 3 be kind enough to change my subtitle to "piece-of-shit jack-off"?

in all honesty, it's been interesting getting a hang of the "stand-alone-and-talk-to-camera-but-perfectly-naturally" thing. i dig the feedback. and the violently repulsed comments... can't tell by the user names, but are my ex-girlfriends are out there?

I'll be the first to admit, I was an early hater too (well... maybe not a piece-of-shit bowel movement kind of hater), but I really think Andrew's grown on me and he's definitely improved. Plus wearing the toque won me over immediately.

P.S. Also, "Bancroft"? That is a ridiculously dope name. Reminds me of a Clue character.

It also has, in your own words, Bancroft being likable. Perhaps a nice way to apologize would be to say "Well, obviously this is just my opinion, and I'm glad to see your nice guy." as opposed to "Soory, I'm just upset because you're a dick on camera". I just watched Andrew Bancroft host the Digg Reel for the first time today,(wayy behind on the episodes!) and I must say that he did a good job, but it takes time to get into the role, he will get better!

I agree 110%. Love the Kper even though I still don't get to watch the old G4 anymore. He is exceedingly talented. Coming from a Rev3 fanboy no less.

I think Andrew Bancroft is doing a great job.

The Digg Reel is one of my favorite Revision3 shows and I think it is really well done despite some disadvantages when compared to some of the other programs: For one, it's just one guy. Andrew doesn't have a sidekick or partner to exchange banter with or even an off-camera staff member that he makes in jokes about. It's a one man show and he carries it very well.

Another shortcoming is the set. It's a dude and a TV. Effective, yes. Appropriate, sure. Exciting, not really. TRS has the cool backgrounds, Social Brew has the coffeehouse thing and Diggnation has the couch, but the Digg Reel has a blank wall. It works though and keeps the focus on the videos and that's what it's all about, right?

I actually think Andrew has one of the most mainstream TV-ready presences of all of Revision3. He doesn't tangent, yawn on camera or go off on mumbling tangents.

One thing though—HE SHOULD NEVER WEAR THE SIDEWAYS TRUCKER HAT AGAIN!

I too wasn't too fond of him at the beginning, but he's grown on me and I got on the boards today for the sole reason of making a post about liking him now. I think his humor has improved; it seems like he might be writing it now, instead of someone else.

Or maybe it's the new haircut, haha.

I've got to say, though, after seeing your responses on the board, Andrew, I am an even bigger fan than before. I hope I'll get to see more of your humor in the show!

Okay, admittedly that doesn't raise the bar much, but I've found myself laughing at VH1's shows every once in a while. Besides, if it's one thing that VH1 has down pat, it's f-ing countdown shows. So in that sense, comparing Digg Reel to it, isn't so bad.

I'm also in agreement regarding Kevin Pereira. The dude is a complete tool for G4, but besides that he's a good host and a overall nice guy. He's probably the only good thing to ever come out of that joke of a network.
