There's no conditions to this. It doesn't have to be a sequel anything else like that. Just any game or type of game that you would like to see made.
For me, I wanna have a PS3 disc with EVERY SINGLE Sonic game from every system. I want developers to use every bit of a blu-ray disc's space and load it with every game from the series/franchise. Also, I wanna see an Ecco The Dolphin sequel. Those games were just soooo uch fun and soooo beautiful. Can you imagine the ocean and Ecco in 1080p!?!?
TRS The Game, in all it's 16-bit glory.

a Battle Hunter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Hunter) sequel, with ONLINE PLAY.
It's a board/card game for PS1 that involves you moving your character around a random dungeon opening chests looking for treasure and battling the other players when need be. Me and three friends used to play this so much, hours of fun. I love it!

There are so many answers to this question!
I think about this kind of thing often, and I should really be writing down my thoughts onto paper (the original blog!).
Firstly, I want a new, amazing translation from 2D to 3D (ala Metroid Prime), entry in the Actraiser series, but it has to be like the first one, not the second. The first one was amazingly great, genre-pooling, and thoroughly enjoyable back in my SNES days. And it still is, via the Virtual Console. Anyhow, they could make it into 3D, combining various genres, and it'd be awesome... That's what I want more than anything else. Come on, Square-Enix!
And then I have original ideas...
Hear me out on this one...
It'd certainly not be a game for everybody, but I think it'd be good for people like myself or others who enjoyed Endless Ocean, or other games like that.. Think of this:
It's a game where you play as a budding young photographer. You start off with a Canon point-and-shoot, like most people have. You start with maybe a hundred dollars in your miscellaneous fund (big-budget expenses and whatnot would be assumed to be taken care of in the game, this isn't about paying your bills and whatever) that you can use to buy travel to various locations, or magazines or books or new gear, like tripods and carrying cases.. Reading books and magazines and manuals, you can learn about newer models of cameras coming out, and learn tips and stuff on how pros shoot, or even submit your own photos to magazines or websites for competitions or as freelance contract work.... OK, so you have a crappy camera, but you can still get some good pics with it if you know what you're doing. So first thing, you happen to read a website that is requesting a royalty-free picture of a dog catching a frisbee, and they are willing to pay $XXX to their favorite picture they receive within 5 days.. So you go to the park and you see people with dogs and stuff, and you can talk to them about your situation. Then someone is like "cool, sure, I don't mind, take some pics of my dog" so you do. And this is where it gets interesting. You can set up the camera just like you would in real life, and the game would create a reasonably good picture just as if you took it with that actual camera (obviously the images won't look 100% realistic, but I mean, you get what I'm saying). So you can enable the flash, zoom in and out, get your framing right, delete pics if they look blurry, etc. Then you can submit your favorite picture and if they accept it, you get rewarded with money. Then you can visit a camera shop and trade up to a new camera with better features, maybe a Nikon D40 or something. You can get different lenses for it, and keep getting little quests - some might have time limits even, or certain restrictions... Varying difficulty levels, etc. Eventually, you could reach "world-renowned photographer" status. Oh, and each camera featured in the game could be as accurate as possible, so if you were to buy that model in real life, you'd actually be familiar with how to use it thanks to the game! Camera manufacturers could be worked with to get their cameras in the game, even... It'd be basically the Gran Turismo of digital cameras! I think it'd be awesome, and if it were fully-fleshed out, and really executed well, it could be really, really good. The graphics in some PS3 games I've played are good enough that the pictures you could take in the game could look pretty neat, and I'd want the ability to export any of them to the pictures section in the XMB (like EyeCreate or Burnout Paradise has), where you could then copy them to USB storage devices, or upload them to the net, send them to your friends on your buddy list, or whatever... It could be great. But it'll never happen.
That's only one idea that I thought of about a week or two ago. I have many more, but I typed too much already.

Does anyone here read the comic DMZ? I think that would make a great game. You have the option to play solo or multiplayer, but there is a fantastic MMORPG online option.
The basic premise of the comic is that America is in a civil war. The U.S. is fighting against what is known as the "Free States" the Free States are more of an idea than an actual place, but they basically from New Jersey inland. As Brian wood puts it: "Midwestern militia groups revolt against their local governments in protest of rampant U.S. adventurism overseas and, in the absence of the National Guard, are able to gain far more ground than they thought possible. Small insurgent groups pop up in towns and cities across the country, and a sizable force, the Free States Army, pushes toward Manhattan. The city proves too big for them to take, and also for the U.S. Army to defend. The war stalls there, a stalemate, neither side being able to shift things". So, the Free Armies and the US Army are at a stalemate, constantly fighting but not getting anywhere. Manhattan becomes the countries only de-militarized zone, full of people from neither side. It falls into chas and destruction, and a fairly primitive way of life. This is where the comic starts. The book follows a reporter in the DMZ, but the game would basically start you as a character of your choice.
You could play as a soldier in the U.S. Army, fighting missions for the government. That way you would start outside of the DMZ and move inwards, ultimately trying to get to the opposite side.
You could play as a soldier of the Free Army, fighting a similar path from the opposite side with different missions.
Or, you could play as a citizen in the DMZ. Working at protecting your property, defending yourself, and trying to stop either side.
Then, when you switch to MMORPG you would play with the character you play with in the game itself, using whatever inventory and stats you have built up, but against everyone else in the world rather than the computer opponents.

I always felt like I was left hanging at the end of the game Parasite Eve 2. Back then I really thought this game had more life to it then just 2 games. But, I'm guessing if we didn't see a 3rd game at anytime during the life span of the PS2, why revive it for the PS3.

I do, and that's why I'm naively hopeful about the new Bionic Commando game, because it looks like you're playing through a New York that's a war zone.
I agree it would make a good game, but for the love of Pete don't make it an MMORPG. Or any kind of RPG.

I always hoped that somebody would make a Batman game that was open world, but which was focused on the detective aspect. So you could go around and solve crimes, and you could take them in any order. And as you pursued solving a certain crime, you run into certain enemies. So like if there's a series of jewel heists going on, and you decide to pursue that and try to stop that, maybe you'd find out that Two Face was behind it. But you'd only be able to fight Two Face if you solved the crime and located him. And then there would be a general level of crime-fighting you'd have to do, just to keep the city from being overrun. And I thought there could be a system where you could use a certain amount of intimidation in trying to solve a crime, and you'd have tools for that (like maybe, being able to break into an office, grab a guy, and hanging him off a tall building, like in Dark Knight returns). But if you intimidate people too much, or intimidate the wrong people at all, the police start coming after you. So there's a GTA/Crackdown aspect to it. And I'd want it to play kind of like Crackdown in the free roaming/ combat aspect. But anyway, you'd progress and get different detective tools (forensics kit, DNA analyzer, spectorgraphicoramitzerwhatchamacallit) and the cases you have to solve would get harder and harder. So yeah, that's my idea that I just gave away for free.
That or, you know, Marvel vs Capcom 3 for the 360.

Holy crap all those sound excellent. I LOVED Kung Fu Chaos. The is one of the most underrated games that came out on the Xbox, right there with Metal arms.
Which brings me to the point that Metal Arms needs a sequel. Slap some of those next gen graphics, update the gameplay a tad, and have some great online.

I've said it before on these forums, and I'll say it again:
Oregon Trail MMORPG.
Also, a Zombie survival MMO would be awesome. You would start as a person with no equipment, and you would try to survive. You could build a fort, and a team. There would have to be NPC zombies, but once a human-controlled character became infected, you would slowly transform and play as a zombie until dead, at which point you would create a new character. Maybe there would be a little leveling up so that you would be more invested in your character. That way there would be some badass super-zombies that could run and whatnot. It would be awesome.
Also, and this one may sound lame, but I would definitely play a well-made Pokemon MMORPG. I think it would have the potential to be the best MMO ever. I'm not kidding.
(It's funny. All my ideas for games are MMOs, and I've never even played one.)

Your zombie MMO sound like it has some potential man, i dunno about playing as undead tho... i think just being a survivor would rock, and the point would be trying to hook up with others and forming your own society... has some potential.

I wanna have a PS3 disc with EVERY SINGLE Sonic game from every system.
I want that for the GTA3 series games...on PS3 and 360. III, Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories...maybe a San Andreas Stories. Give it at least the PC graphics for everything, and all of the enhancements (clothing, hair, body changes.)....but most of all, all free interchange between the three 'cities'. Let me play III as Tommy, or San Andreas as no name...and be able to hop in a boat/aircraft (or buy a ticket at the airport) and visit Vice City, or whatnot.
Yeah, I'll probably lose interest in the idea within 2 weeks, but i wanted this since the PS3/360 were just being talked about.
