WoW Noob!

So I am doing something I never thought I would be - I'm playing WoW, thanks to Radzack. The character is a Level 2 Human Rogue on the Executus pvp server. I have no idea what any of that really means. Character name is Radikul and I could really use any guides, tips, tricks you might have for me.

Oh yeah, and this thing was a bitch with the updates.

Welcome to WoW
Just a few of tricks/recommendations:
1. Take every quest that's available to you.
2. Whenever possible, work at least 2 zones at a time.
When you get out of Northshire Abbey, go to Stormwind and ask a guard for the Deeprun Tram, this will take you to Ironforge the dwarf/gnome capital. Leave Ironforge and you'll be in Dun Morugh the dwarf/gnome 6-10 area.
3. Take up mining and skinning as primary professions
You'll make a lot of money selling smelted ore and leather at the auction house and you'll be able to buy better items than the other professions (or the quests for that matter) can give you.
4. Take up first aid and cooking as secondary professions.
As a rogue, you don't have any healing abilities and you're stuck with leather armor so you'll need all the health you can get.

I gave up on WOW after the first month. I got sick of going exploring and accidently wandering into areas populated by creatures far faster and more powerful than you that are impossible to kill.

Then I'd spend the next half-an-hour regenerating and trying to get out of said area without dying a dozen more times. It got to the point where I was scared to go anywhere so I just gave up.

But seeing as though I'm a massive R.E. Howard fan I might give AGE OF CONAN a go as soon as they release a free demo.
