I'm the jackass who wrote the iFanboy Song from last weeks show. In the show notes comments I saw two people ask where they could get it, so I recorded a slightly better version and uploaded it to here: http://www.filedropper.com/ifanboythemenewversion just go there and click download and it's all yours.

Please don't make fun of my singing. I know that I'm not very good. I just play for fun and I wrote the song in about minute and emailed it to them seconds after that. Enjoy.

thanks, guys, appreciate the kind words. Or at least the lack of unkind words.

You aren't aware of the iFanbase slogan?
"Now with 73% less unkind words!"

Honestly I'm new here and it's just weird to see a message bored where everyone's not a douche for no good reason. hah

We are quite the anomaly on the internet, I'm happy to say. That song made my day by the way.

Wow that was way to rhyme-y for anyone's good.

It's eery how supportive and friendly these people are.

I don't trust any of them.

Yeah, I literally just got into comics by listening to the podcast. I'm not sure what possessed me to download it at all but I suspect that the brightly colored logo and extreme ennui played a major role. I've always loved Spider-Man but that's about the extent of my prior knowledge. I've learned so much and the show has opened me up to so much great stuff.

I came here expecting the worst because, in general, people on forums are ass holes but I was blown away at how nice everyone is. It's almost bolstered my confidence enough to venture into a comic shop (I'm afraid of being made fun of for not knowing anything).

Oh I felt the same way. I remember the first time I went in a shop to pick up comics on a Wednesday (Ie - not just a browse around sort of visit). I had my little list and felt like a colossal dork. But you just gotta jump in and never look back! I know those horror stories exist, but most stores aren't going to call you out or be assholes. They may not go out of their way to befriend you, as they seem to be an introverted breed in general, but usually they'll be cool about answering questions. If not... well... we're here for ya. :)
