Michael Showalter...

Anybody else think Michael Showalter is a genius? All those guys from The State were great, I particularly liked the ones who went on to do Stella (although I still like Reno 911) but my favorite has to be Showalter. I don't think any other comedian has made me laugh harder...I know it's a different kind of humor but come on Wet Hot American Summer was funny!

Anyway I want to know what you guys think about him or any of the other guys from The State. Oh and if your a fan you probably already know this but just in case you don't you should check out his show on CollegeHumor.com. So Funny!

american wh summer was amazing. I love the way they make fun of the genre, and I love the guy with curly black hair from superbad.
I also just saw Michael's youtube interviews, they were very funny.

Some of the Reno 911 guys (Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant) fill in on LA's Indie 103.1 FM every now and then too. They recently started archiving the shows.....this is from last month :) music + douchebaggery!

Wainy days is definitely awesome too! I think it's up for a webby (comedy) as well if you want to vote for it after voting for TRS of course!

If you like Michael Showalter you should check out his comedy cd, Sandwiches and Cats. It's not the greatest comedy album of all time or anything, but it is pretty amusing if you like his style.

Yeah I do like his stand-up stuff but I like his sketch comedy better. Although there are some hilarious videos of him and Michael Ian Black doing some standup together. He's always funnier when he has someone else to play off of, that's why I love The Michael Showalter Showalter so much!

I loved Stella! :) And I remember watching some of the Showalter Showalter videos a long time back and they were really funny. Haven't seen much since then though.
