I have been watching TRS for about 9 months now and I have noticed that there is not a significant presence of comedies within the movie segments. Now maybe I am just forgetting them, but comedies tend to be one of my favorite types of movies and I would really like to see what Alex, Dan and Jeff think. Does anyone agree?

I think comedies are probably films best left to your personal opinion, as it's (mostly) a matter of whether or not it's your kind of humor.

There's also that they seem to focus on most anticipated films...which a lot of comedies don't fall into. Sure, they're good and some of my favourite movies, but then generally don't come across as something to run out and see ASAP.

neverending and damnedayez, I guess I see your points. I think I would just like to know what their opinion is and what they enjoy the the most, whether it is slapstick humor or do they prefer something more like a Wes Anderson film. I guess that is more an email question to send to them.
So, I wonder what everyone here enjoys? Is there a specific type of comedy that you enjoy and what are comedies to you? I will start it off.
I enjoy all forms of comedy, from stupid comedy, i.e. Anchorman, to dry comedy like Darjeeling Limited. The last comedy that I saw was Dan in Real Life and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am thinking about seeing Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but I might just wait for DVD.
Who's next?

I am a big fan of all types of humor, however I think my favorite is Brittish Humor.
Douglas Adams, Monty Python, Red Dwarf, The IT Crowd... all great stuff.

I bet that if a good comedy ever comes out, they'll review it.

I also enjoy all forms of comedy, I enjoy certain kinds more than others but it's hard for me to really separate them at times. If I laugh, it's all good, doesn't matter what it is. Though when it comes to comedians I definitely prefer the Mitch Hedburg and Demetri Martins and such.
Example: "I was talking to this girl in the park the other day that was walking her dog, and I asked her, 'Does he bite?' and she said no. So I said, 'How does he eat? Liar...'"
Love it, sounds like me. :D

LoL Gotta love Mitch...: "I don't have a girlfriend; I just know a girl who would get really mad if she heard me say that.'"
or
"I used to do drugs, I still do, but I used to too."

Hahah, I love lots of comedians. Mitch is awesome. I have Demetri's DVD Person, and it's good. Have you guys checked out any Steve Martin? Genius. My favorite of all time is Jim Gaffigan though. He's awesome. Jeffrey Yu is a bit unknown, but I saw him opening for Ron Josol not long ago, and he was hillarious. Can't find any albums or anything though.
