I'd like to hear Alex, Dan and Jeff's review of It's always sunny in Philadelphia. It's one of my favorite shows.
Thoughts?

Didnt they already talk about this at some point? I seem to remember them commenting on it in the forums or something.
Personally i didnt see anything that interested me. Anyone wanna expand on it? Maybe i just havent seen whats so good about it yet. I havent even watched a full episode, but like i said, it just didnt grab me so i didnt watch more.

Watch episode one of season one in its entirety. If you don't enjoy that, then it's just not for you. If you did, you'll want to grab the DVD because it's seriously the best comedy on television right now. Hugely under appreciated, in my book. I can't think of a bad episode in the entire first three seasons.

So, new episodes tonight. What did everyone think of the premiere? I liked the 2nd ep better than the first.

You should definitely give it a try. It will introduce random new phrases into your daily conversations. I hate to think of how many times I've said "Aw yeah... Let's chop some cats! Lets chop some cats!" since seeing that episode ;)

I LOVE Arrested Development, and after that was cancelled I tried watching bits of IASIP. I hated it, and thought it was a C-Grade AD wannabe. Then my friend convinced me to give it another chance. I watched the DVD's and I fell in love with it.
So, now I pass it on: Try watching the episodes in their entirety, then tell us what you think.

I don't know. I think it's funny... and you don't like Flight of the Conchords, so....
Kidding, of course. Actually, IASIP is a different type of show. More on the vulgar side. Try it out, see watcha think. Watch complete episodes though, as referenced in my last post.

For you American viewers...
Though they suddenly are missing a few episodes it use to be a full collection. But if you've never seen the show this could be your gateway drug.

The most accurate way I've seen it described is that it's Seinfeld on crack. Take the self centered, irresponsible characters and their pathetically petty lives... and turn the whole thing up to 11. It has an extremely high Joke Per Minute ratio.

I had a similar experience. It was recommended to me on the basis of my love for Arrested Development, and I watched nearly half of an episode and thought it wasn't funny, and that all the actors were annoying. After so many more recommendations and a new Netflix subscription I got the first season and laughed my ass off.
Funny thing is, the episode I saw and didn't like turned out to be my favorite so far. It was the episode where they decide to quit their jobs to get welfare, and start doing crack. How that wasn't funny to me the first time I will never understand.

I got hooked on this show this summer thanks to Hulu and the TRS forums. Hulu because they had easy access to the shows and TRS forums from all the recommendations. It's just so insane that it's awesome.
Just caught up on the latest episode with the Waitress. I can't not laugh hysterically at this show.

The sode were they had a plan to buy a "shit ton" of gas then sell it later and make a huge profit was awesome. Charlie cuts the brakes in the van full of gas and jumps out the back and yells "wildcard bitches".

I always love the intro, before the title flash. The way the line and the title always play off each other.
"Guys, I'd think I would know if I was dating a retarded person."

One of my favorite tv shows. The characters are so unlikable yet to fun to watch. And yes Charlie is a funny mofo, he's probably the most "likable" character of the bunch.

Yeah I agree that this season contained the best and worst of Sunny. They should keep Fred Savage as he is an awesome writer/director, but get rid of whoever wrote Sweet Dee Has a Heartattack, Erotic Life, and the Who Pooped the Bed?
The Nightman Cometh, and Charlie and Mac die are two of the best episodes in the shows history.
Last episode was far better than the dumb ass bell episode. Funny funny stufff

The Nightman Cometh, and Charlie and Mac die are two of the best episodes in the shows history. He doesn't write any episodes, but he did direct Who Pooped The Bed and Erotic Life.
To be fair, he is also responsible for most of my favorites.
I definitely think they should keep him around. The direction on those episodes was fine, but the overall premise was god awful.

I think Liberty Bell was the only 1 I truly disliked.. It's just those certain episodes blew everything else out of the water.
I loved the Home Make Over.. After they run in Dennis Rockin' The "Insperational music"

The only weak link in the season, to me, was "Who pooped the bed?" it was funny, but just not as witty and clever as they could be. everything else though i think was gold. GREENMAN!

Thank god for the last few weeks that Hulu is playing IASIP.
I went back and watched the Tranny episode and NOW it makes so much more sense when Brittany Daniels appears. Plus..I get a real funny feeling watching her be a man...just sayin..(lol)
