Venture Brothers Season 3 is GO!

So Venture Brothers Season 3 will be starting on June 1st. For those of you who have never heard of Venture Brothers, I urge you to guy get the first two seasons and watch them before season 3 comes out. The whole theme of the show is basically a parody of Johnny Quest and those types of 60's/70's shows.

Alright boys.... I'm saying this. If you TRS boys are not watching this show, then you are NOT as Rad as you think you are.

This shows is freakin' Genius. "The Shield" ain't nothin' compared to this show. Yep, that is a challenge Mr. "The Shield is the best Show Ever Made." This sh*t just got REAL!

You CAN pick it up at any point and think it's funny, but if you pick it up from season one you'll really appreciate Season 3 so far.

All the episodes, including this season, are on Xbox Live and of course S1 and S2 are on DVD.

I hope they do, Venture Bros is one of the funniest shows I've seen on American television. Season 3 seems to be focusing on origin stories, and new beginnings. I love this show! The season opener was great but nothing can top season 2's first episode.

my favorite hank and dean moment was when they saw Brok and that ugly chick having sex and they thought Brok was fighting her. Then one of them goes,

"why is he.."

"think about it, what other weapon does he have?"

And I just love Pete White. He's the only character I can do a decent impression of. Although a co-worker and I do our best to re-enact the exchanges between 21 and 24.

This season didn't open nearly as strong as the second season did. Still a great show, but the first episode wouldn't make any sense to someone who hasn't seen the first two seasons.

The second episode of Season 3 was great, Dr. Henry Killinger needs to be in a ton more episodes. Completely agree that it's one of the best shows ever.

With BSG on hiatus and all of the other genre shows stagnating or "lost", the only must watch for me right now is Venture Bros. It's easy to dismiss as simply a parody of Johnny Quest, but its characters have a depth and reality to them that makes entire series amazing.

Yes, the show is ridiculous, but the characters are grounded. For the most part they have real, understandable reactions to the insanity around them.

and it's damn funny. Last week's episode: The Lepidopterists (http://www.adultswim.com/video/?episodeID=8a2505951b6aa0be011b75dea2d800e3) was so funny I woke my wife up from laughing so much. The entire sub-plot with henchmen #21 and #24 and the redshirt was hilarious. Simultaneously pointing out the illogical nature of the situation and reveling in it.

If the guys aren't watching it yet, we need to strap them down and force them. (Note: I will disagree with some other folks though...the first season gets off to a rocky start, but once you get past that, it's gold)

This season for me, has lost its 'magic'. I'm not sure what, its still full of laughs, action, and mystery, and I am still 100% in love with it. but its just doesn't feel the same. I guess that's a result of having it canceled for almost 3 years, brought back, then almost another 2 years between last season and this one.

Like i said, 100% in love. I was one who shrugged it off at the start as a "Johnny Quest clone". about 5 months after it was canceled, I started to watch it. than was super pissed it was gone. then it came back, i hugged it and kissed it and told it to never do that again.

Ive been told I do a spot on Monarch impression (along with 21 and 24), I'm tall, skinny, and can sew... guess what I'm going to be for Halloween!?

After just watching it, this may be the most epic finale of the series to date. part1 has to be the most kick ass episode ever. Can't wait till next week for part2

A friend of mine got me hooked on this show and I went out and bought seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. I've been having a blast watching this show. To many fav characters at this point but I think Doctor O takes the cake!
