When I was little and sick with the flu my mom bought me a stack of comic books; one of which was a batman comic (the one that made me a bigger batman fan than I was). Anyway I finished it and I looked at the next issue page and it had the title: Batman Dies! If any of you know what happened or know where I can find out I'd apreciate it

To the best of my knowledge Batman has never really died. Although there was a story a while ago where he drank a formula given to him by Ra's Al Ghul that was suppose to kill him temporarily. He used it to talk to his parents, and discovered that his Father was appalled at what Bruce had become. Once he came out of his "comma" he ignored his parents disappointment in him and convinced himself it was just a dream.

Sadly, I totally remember what you're talking about, though I'm pretty sure it wasn't 10 years ago...
DC ran this incredibly retarded promotion in the Batman titles, featuring a banner on the cover of each issue that month reading "In This Issue: Batman DIES!", advertising as such in the "next issue" box of the letters page of the issue before. It turned out, of course, that each issue had a way around the death thing, leading to little more than a lame and obvious cop-out. The only issue I read of it was an issue of Robin starring the Joker ranting on maniacally about how Robin should be dead. In his rantings (which are shown visually to the reader), at one point he fantasizes about Batman dying, showing his corpse. It was that kind of thing. The issue itself is amazing, actually, but the promotion was a total tease in every way.

It was years back I don't know what the issue number was... but Big Doze that
the one. thats the comic I read with the next issue saying he died
