Handbrake doesn't go that direction. Does anything for the mac?

I think you can do it with ffmpeg. I seem to remember having to use the command line. im sure if you google ffmpeg flv conversion, you'll get something.

I'm pretty sure VisualHub will convert from FLV to MPEG. I remember using it to convert some YouTube FLVs to AVIs.

yeah visualhub or isquint (free) will do that for you

If you do not mind using an online service use http://www.zamzar.com They do all kinds of conversions and email you a link to the converted file. (I do not know if want an actual app to do the conversion or just a tool such as the website)

vixy.net is an online serivce too.

Or, if you have QuickTime Pro, and use Perian (www.perian.org), you can just open the file and convert it as any other movie file.

The main one is FLV2iTunes it's a simple docklet application for converting movies to iTunes,iPod, and iPhone supported format and it's free!!!

There Tooble it's automatically converts YouTube video to MP4 format.But it only for youtube have never tryed a Flv file.

Hello bigshotprof:)Maybe you can try Macvide FlashVideo Converter .It`s convent flv to mp4 (iPod Video), MOV, 3GP, ASF/WMV.:)
