Anyone seen any kind of review on the new DX10 cards as applied to Vista? Are there even drivers for these puppies for Vista?

No I haven't seen that doodad with the doohickey.

I'm not even sure what the heck you're even talking about, but I won't let a friend hang out there in the wind. I'll bite.

Perhaps this thread belongs in another forum within Revision 3 with more technical traffic.

They are graphics card, you need them to play high quality "3D video games" that people play on there "personal computers" over the "internet" (a series of tubes).

Just effin' around with ya, but if you don't know jack about the thread don't spam. Just common courtisy.

DX10 looks more like a patch than an upgrade imho. Dx9 cards run vista's aero very well. I would hold off on buying a card right now, wait until vista hits the oem companies.

you're wrong, it's a completely new way of addressing the information. it blocks instructions in to much larger groups and stratifies them and orgnaizes in a hierarchy that is much more efficient. The cards themselves also assist in the processing of this information. It's most certainly not a patch. It's an entirely new way of processing graphics. The cards themselves are the first new architecture changes in 2 or 3 years and it will likely be the around in various forms over the next 2 or 3 years as they refine the designs. I know and understand the concepts, what I'm looking for is a hands on review of the differences in cards.
