What the bloody hell, I can't even download it. Any ideas? I've tried all of my browsers, Firefox, Opera,Safari and Camino. And I have QT pro.

My guess is they are releasing it for all users for possibly a couple of reasons...
1. The delays they've had the past two weeks. Not that they "owe" anything to non-paying members, but it's a nice gesture if nothing else.
2. The relaunch of the site. That's most likely the reason, in my opinion. Whether or not they keep the paying memberships in the future, right now I think they just want to keep pushing out as much content as possible that is available to everyone who comes across the site.

Hmmm. The download is working fine for me (the --large.h264.mov format). I see, though, that only the Large H264 and the Small Theora video formats are listed. Maybe they're still playing around?

I just think they are going to keep the free shows, while they get money from their ads and their shirts from Jinx. Plus any money from Digg might be comming into Rev3. Haven't you seen all of the ads on Digg, well if you use Adblock you won't but think about it.

QT not my usual interface.
No complaints as it was direct from rev3 as the download hit.
I watch via desktop computer that can handle any type of distribution w/ headphones

The two slanty candles made a V and then the other three straighty candles made III. VIII for 8 years old.
I'm proud of myself. There's nothing anyone can say to make me think otherwise!

We really are trying to make the new site smooth. There are lots of bugs, and after all the trouble, we wanted to make it up to the general users by offering the show early.
Next week the show will resume it's normal "members only" schedule.

Christ... You americans are so lucky. I have cable here in Australia and the best that I can get downloading the video version is 43kb/s, without doing anything else on the computer (no torrents, nothing). Yes, I'm on wireless, but that shouldn't matter too much. :(
Amazing we only have one 40gbs connection with the rest of the world, discounting satellite.

I am in Perth and can only get around 27KB/s normally, however when I use a download accelerator (DAP) I am able to get it up to around 300KB/s , which is a bit better but still no where near optimal for my 15MB/s ADSL2+ connection. :(
Hopefully Cachefly will put a server in the Australia/Asia-Pacific region some time in the future.

are you kidding. While we may be faster then that we are hardly tops for speed. The government have the telecoms $3 BILLION to get us faster speeds by...umm....9 or 10 months ago. They did nothing with the money, they just pissed it away and charged us all the same rates.
Japan on the other hand gets speeds 2 or 3 times faster then us for half the price.
I understand they have a smaller infrastructure to support, but still. How to you take $3,000,000,000 and come out with nothing

It would have been nice if they at least had shot a little footage to put at the end or something.
I like when they shoot in the Digg offices though... although it takes away the homey feeling, it just seems so much cleaner and more professional.

Just saw that a new episode was out; is there a release schedule for all the Rev3 series somewhere so that I can know when a new episode is out?
At the very least Rev3 should throw up some rss links so that it's easier to keep an eye out for new releases via feed readers.
