I believe a show about social networking can only die a horrible death because the rate you produce these shows (weekly). There are only few social networking sites that matter, facebook, myspace and maybe bebo. After that they tend to be crap or more of the same. You can turn the show in another directon and concentrate on other things that go past the social networking.
Examples:
I met my new bestfriend/wife/gimp online and went to brazil to meet him/her/it. (like a web version of Maury or the other crazy dude who i forget his name)
Or maybe you could turn it into a show about culture. The cinqo de mayo (bad speller here :P) episode was good, and i belive it should keep going in a cultural direction rather than a tech direction.
Let's face it most of us are geeks who think the sun is something best taken in moderate quantities. I personally as a geek and a person of ethinicity would like a pro-cultural vidcast. And this is a good show to push it to the mainstream. There are fringe vidcasts but revision3 has the chance to popularize it and go in a new direction so that my non-geek girlfriend would watch more of your shows.
I would like other people to replay to my statment. What do you think Guys ?

I really have to agree. Although I do think that the current subjects that are touched, do have some mileage left. For instance, Neha’s topic today featured the Facebook applications (or rather application) that she really liked. Although I found it interesting what she had to say about it, I felt the segment was cut off way too early. I’d like to hear more of her suggestions. And that same analogy applies to all the other segments. Personally, I’m always on the lookout for new music, and I thought Johnny’s suggestion was great. But yet again, way too short. It’s not doing much justice to the qualities each of the hosts got, cutting them short, and just letting them tell one story. I think there is a lot more to foster. And Moujan is hilarious! Like to see Mrs. M. back again. Oh, and while I’m at it, what’s the deal with greeting each other, every time a segment starts? In the last episode you kinda hit that point, especially when you finish it off with tequila shots. Overall, I do think the show has got potential. It just needs to work out the content, and get a better feel of what the audience wants to hear. Keep up the great work! I’ll stay subscribed, to see what the future will bring for you guys. Good stuff I hope. :)

I can stand that skiny which chick. Her voice is peircing and nasily and annoying. If she's on every episode I won't watch. Sorry but I already stopped watching pop siren because of it.

Well as long as you can stand her, then I guess there's no problem!

I'm sorry to poke at your reply, but the last two brought me on that band-wagon.
I think he meant "white chick", it could also be "witch chick" but that would be plain mean.
You said she is "nasily"? Like nasaly? Sounds like coming from the nose?! I really don't know I hope you meant "noisy" or something.
Finally, you said you stopped watching popSiren because of it... I guess you just don't like the female hosts... There are two groups of female hosts; high-pitch (Jessica, Irene) and low pitch (Veronica, Sarah)
All that to say, your opinion is interesting, but it would not be a show I'd like to watch. If you need more cultural diversity all you're missing is a black man. If I was in the SF area I would apply.

sorry i meant can't and white chick and nasaly (I must have been tired or something when I wrote my initial comment)
I don't like the high-pitch female hosts typically. It doesn't just have to do with their voice pitch as content and what they say and how they act has a lot to do with my feelings towards them. I like Neha, Dr. Kiki, Veronica, etc but some of the other hosts I don't like due to either a combination of their voice and the content.
(I think her name is Irene) I just can't stand her voice. It really reminds me of like Fran Dresher. It's nothing against her intelligence or who she is as a person but I just don't like her voice.

In my positive opinion, I like Irene because her voice sounds geeky to me. Geeky = + infinity XD. Also she seems really nice and I like that as well. So it's not offsetting at all for me :D. I also really like everything about Moujan (She needs her own show and atmosphere for her acting) -=^.^=-
-and I enjoy the opening, upbeat, makes me happy. I really don't have anything negative to say, the show hasn't been on long enough for me to really weigh the scales. So I'll just wait and watch.
I think if they hang out off screen and get to know each other and see what they can do with each other's chemistry ( like them seem to be doing) we'll see improvements in time.

I agree she seems like a very nice person and I feel bad for saying something bad about her but...it's just how I feel sorry.
Anyway I've got so many shows to watch already...heh (Diggnation, TRS, Pixel Perfect, Scam School, Systm, Tekzilla, Gazette, Scrubs, Reaper, Chuck)

This person is killing me oh so slowly with his/her grammatical errors. Look, I would never say this but you are the one who started in with the negative notions about one of the host. If you are going to complain pointlessly at the very least make it so that it seems that you have the intelligence above that of a fifth grader.

Okay so apparently the one I'm talking about isn't Irene. It's the skinny girl who shows up on Social Brew and does the DIY stuff on Pop Siren. IDK what her name is but her voice kills me (and not in a good way).

Her name is Moujan (Moo-jon). I'd be careful what you say though. Ms. Z has started to garner a following around here that borders on rabid. You might wind up with your car getting keyed, or something involving burning feces.

Now now, give us some credit. We're Moujan fans, we'd be far more creative than that. *evil laugh* :p

I think there are many sites that many of us are not aware of - and thats why this show is great, and think it will be around for a while. Due to the success of the large ones, news ones likely pop up weekly, and many are undiscovered now. The current leading social networking sites are almost like a monopoly. They have the user base, and now have the capital to implement any conceivable feature to keep their user base in days/weeks/months. I do not follow myspace and facebook, but I do notice how they copy off each other, and how many other sites intergrate similar features. My point is, this show is great in that it expands the average user's view of what social networking is, and allows them to see original idea's of the small guys
Examples:
I met my new bestfriend/wife/gimp online and went to brazil to meet him/her/it. (like a web version of Maury or the other crazy dude who i forget his name)

I could see this show heading that direction, but I sure hope it does not! As a fellow geek, I am more interested in the tech, and business side of things. I enjoy seeing fresh idea's and seeing them grow (revision3 for example).
