The beer you drink varies by state ... commonly Toohey's in NSW, VB in Vic, Coopers in SA, XXXX (Four X) in QLD.

Lots of beer brands to choose from - Tooheys, Carlton, Hahn, Coopers, VB (Victoria Bitter) ... all MUCH better than Fosters Lager (although, Fosters Special Bitter isn't bad).

Coopers is available in some of the wine specialty stores, and Costplus World Market.

BTW - The Fosters you see in the US is imported, from Canada where it is brewed by Molson.
