View Full Version : How can two movie junkies know so much!

I recently posted on the diggnation forums a thread titled How Can Two Techies Know So Little, or somthing like that. I asked why it was that alex and (espescially) kevin seem to know so little about science since they are tech junkies. Everyone went off on me for some reason.
Well, I was thinking, and I now think I know why I respect geekdrome so much: BECUASE THE HOSTS ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!! They actually went to (and completed) school for this stuff.
I just wanted to say that for some reason.

Yeah, I like listening to them them talk about movies. Especially because they often mention things I notice in movies too. And there's just a good balance of me agreeing with them on stuff, and me wanting to jump through the screen and start hitting one of them for saying something that's wrong.
But they seriously lack some gaming knowledge :D They got their retro stuff down though.

I dunno what you're talking about.
Who else here is pumped to see Malcolm Jamal Warner in Ridley Scott Pierce's Deja Vu coming out later this month... or is it next? And is it faithful to the comic book of the same name or is that video game (first person shooter?) of the same name? What's a comic book? Who are you people?
Actually, the most surprising thing about your post is that you actually posted in the Digg Forum. That's when I knew you were making stuff up. ZING! We're much friendlier here. We have Dromettes. What's the Digg equivalent to a Dromie anyways (don't say it Thundercat... don't say it)?

Wait...I dont get it...Inside joke?
*Klitzy ponders over this statement realizing maybe he is too young and not knowledgeable*

And we're working on the games stuff. It's the most expensive of the 3 subjects we cover so it's the hardest to stay on top of. One day, when the Drome is our job allowing for playing time and every game company in the known cosmos is pelting us with free product to review on the show you will have your game knowledge. In fact, we will start a new section called "Poltah's Paltry Game Knowledge Gets Pwwned By Dan and Jon". How's that?

I only watch it to see Hank and Cheese, the other stuff is simply bonus material.

That sounds delicious!
But then Dan need to learn that you can't describe Gears of War as "It's kinda FPS, but you see it over the shoulder of the guy."
THIRD PERSON DUDE!
And when I get my X360, I'm going to kick your ass. Third person stylo!

Too late man, you've totally wrecked your gamer rep. The only way to redeem yourself is by sending me money.
I'm sorry, but that's the only way.
