Alright guys, the rules isnt very clear about what can or cannot go into your signature. Is it against the rules to post a referral link in your signature and tell them what it is and if they are interested to sign up using that link.

Seems like spam in my opinion but is spam in a signature okay? I have seen it before but just wondering.

Its double spam - viral marketing spam on the forums (the link is not of benfit to the wider Rev3 community, it only benefits the person publishing the link).

The double whammy is that by signing up for these referral links, you are giving valid details to email spammers who will be selling the info to the highest bidder.

First, I am going to toss the signature but I am not really sure how many of the signatures I see "benefit the rev3 community." But okay, sorry guys but I always get into these things just because its worth a shot. As long as I never put in my credit card than I am fine and I have made money off of these before.

Yes. It's simplified Chinese. Traditional Chinese is better though ;)

I don't really see these links as anything bad, as long as it's not over excessive. I don't think people on Revision3 are stupid enough to click those links.

the Wonderful people of Hromel (the Creators of SPAM.. the Meat) have been commanding us NOT to use the term SPAM unless we are refering to their lovely Tinned Shoulder Ham Meat SPAM, not to anything annoying on the net.
