Ive never really been into comics, but watching the latest iron man film has made me want to follow the iron man story.

Ive been recommended to buy Extremis but as i know nothing about comics im struggling to find what i need.

I live in the uk and come across this (http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_music_info&products_id=34839) at forbidden planet. I tried asking them about it but they didnt have a clue.

Does the above inclued all 1-6 issues?

Also i spotted Iron Man Execute Program (http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_music_info&products_id=35277) it says its issues 7-12, is this the direct followon from Extremis? and like above does it include all issues 7-12?

If the answer to all of the above is yes, is there any other set of issues that follow on from Execute Program?

Thanks.

Extremis was only actually a 6 issue arc that kicked off volume 4 of Iron Man. After issue 15 it was renamed "Iron Man: Director of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Amazon is blocked at school, or I'd find the links to all of the trades that came after Extremis. Hope I helped a bit.

Yep, that's Extremis. The product page states that it includes issues 1-6. Execute Program follows that arc, but it's a different creative team. I'd say read those two trades and see if you want to continue.

For more Iron Man goodness, check out a standalone story called Enter the Mandarin (http://www.amazon.com/Iron-Man-Mandarin-Joe-Casey/dp/0785126228/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1210346490&sr=8-1).

Just as an FYI "execute program" is not as good as "extremis" but you can find all the Tony Stark you want in the other regular books.

I'll second this, Excute Program was extremely bland. I'd avoid it unless you really need an Iron Man fix. Read Captain America instead, he's good in that, or even Mighty Avengers
