Free web-based MMO's?

I'm not sure if these qualify as web based since they all require you to download a client, but they are free. The interfaces aren't as intuitive as they pay ones IMO. but the game play is solid and they all look good (especially Shaiya).

Tabletop isn't really my thing. I've tried it plenty of times. I think the last time I enjoyed anything tabletop, it was not Heroclix, but the fantasy based ones.

Hmmmm I used to play this game @ www.themobster.com but as of late I don't like the new interface. I don;t know what classifies as a MMO, but I like www.nationstates.net

Yea. I've played Nationstates before. It's not really my thing. I'll try out the mobster one. I've tried a few of the others. I might be forced to play Runescape. -_-
