I know you feature the top dugg videos of the week... but often there are videos with a low number of diggs that are far better than some of the week's most dugg... so maybe you can do a video at the end of the show where Andrew chooses a video that didn't make the top of the week but should have... and viewers could send in links to such videos.
Call it something like "Hidden Gem" .... "And now, let's take a look at this week's hidden gem... a video that didn't quite make it to the top of the charts (or to the front page) but still deserves the spotlight...."

Another good idea. We don't always go for the 6-8 videos at the very top of the list (as some of these are too commercial, or boring, whatever). So we do show some lower digg count videos, but the Hidden Gem vid with a really low count could be cool.
Open invite to all: Send in nominations for underrated videos during the week and maybe they'll make the show...

define: "better"
the problem wtih showing videos that aren't the most dugg:
who picks them? and then say you do find someone to pick the videos -- now we are just watching some jackasses favorite videos. the current system works well because the community picked the videos, so there is some sort of scale to go by and not just someone randomly picking videos.

I agree, because otherwise the show becomes Diggnation with only videos, however that could introduce an interesting dynamic.
Which brings another good point. I remember over the last couple weeks there have been a few videos on Diggnation that also appear on Digg Reel. It seems to me there should be enough selection that they don't have to double up on videos like that.
I'd like them to try a co-host or some other opinion to go with or against the main host's. Kind of like Diggnation but not exactly. For instance, in the last Gazette when Prager or someone was throwing out ideas they said something about little versions of Andrew that would have there own opinions on each story (eg political andrew, sports andrew, horny andrew, etc)

I definitely agree that Digg Reel and Diggnation shouldn't overlap, but other than that I don't mind what videos are shown, cause I don't watch them on digg.com to begin with.
