Are they serious with this show is lame worse than lame it blows. They don’t follow story line terminators look wrong and what’s with this Cameron and john thing robo call girl. If they fallowed story line it might be pretty good.

I think the point is that the 3rd movie deserves to be ignored, and so they've done just that. I actually like the show. The first two movies are far superior of course, but I found the show to be progressively more entertaining as the season went on. Besides, it's good to see Summer Glau working.

I enjoy the show as well. Not my favorite, but keeps my attention and i love summer glau.

As far as the terminators, they are T-888's, in between the movie models, so they don't have to look exactly like what's in the flashes from the movies.

Can you imagine if they tried the "lets find the nobody muscle man who looks as much like Arnold as we can!" approach some tv shows in the past have tried after some films.

The show is decent but not great but very glad they ignored the 3rd film.
But if I were john I would be always pissed off also seeing Summer every day looking like a hot chick but knowing she is a robot it's a big tease.:p

No I like Summer Glau she is the best part of the show. Its Just John is smarter than this to fall for a girl that he knows is a terminator.

I agree the third movie was the worst having Sarah die and bringing a geriatric Arnold as terminator to protect john.

The first movie was the best. But still I think the show could be better.

I like summer also but was just being silly in how if I were a teen having this hot looking girl follow me everywhere and knowing she is a robot it would be a tease since teens have raging hormones.

I foresee a twist where Cameron after getting blown-up in jeep she reverts back to default mission and kills Derek. Sarah and John run and hide until they discover a way to capture Cameron and reprogram her. did I blow it for season two or is the righting that obvious.

The show definitely suffers from a case of "meh."

I don't think they are actually ignoring the 3rd movie. What I got out of the whole time travel incident was that the writers didn't want to deal with the Terminator canon, so they just popped everyone into a different time where they can say a whole bunch of stuff happened that just never got recorded.

I.e., it's a cheap cop-out, albeit a somewhat entertaining one.

No, they're pretty much ignoring it (http://tv.ign.com/articles/798/798086p1.html). The producer/writer considers it an "alternate" timeline. The third movie stunk big ones.

According to the article, it sounds like they consider the television series to be the alternate time-line, rather than the movie.

That they gave mention to T3 in the series, would seem to suggest that too.

Regardless of which is the alternate timeline, it stills equates to ignoring any bearing 3 has on continuity.

Look-up Terminator 4 on the web its to be released in 2009. They say its all about the future and john. Is this BS or is there some truth to this I saw about 10 trailers they are all different.
