I wanna know what the TRS guys think of all the WiiWare launch titles from today, but specifically Lost Winds.

I think Lost Winds is phenominal, for a $10 game, and I kept on thinking "man, this just wouldn't work on PS3/360." The game makes me smile, and it's really enjoyable.

Does anyone know if someone in Canada (me) can gift this to someone in the USA (Jeff)? Cuz I would if he'll review it..

I've been debating buying this, mainly becasue my video game budget went through the roof this past month (Mario Kart Wii, No More Heroes, House of the dead 2 and 3, Boom Blox, and a few VC titles). So I'd like to hear their take on it, too.

I'm glad that you are enjoying it though, does it play as well as the videos make it out to?

I'd love to see some discussion on the WiiWare titles. I'll be watching the forums with interest for opinions.

Well, the only video of Lost Winds that I saw was in the Nintendo Channel, and I didn't like the video.. I bought it anyhow because I've had like 2600 points just sitting there for ages (ran out of room a LONG time ago, and decided I was sick of making space - 256MB usable storage is ridiculously small for a game console that was planned to have downloads like VC games and WiiWare).

Anyhow, I didn't know what to expect from Lost Winds, but I love it. Put it this way: I got my PS3 in January and haven't touched my Wii since then, until today. I've put over an hour and a half into Lost Winds, and I'd do more but I'm super tired and need to sleep. I'll be playing it more tomorrow after work, and I think I'm going to finish it. It feels like a Nintendo or Capcom game to me, which says a lot.. I dig it. As I mentioned in the other thread, it reminds me of a cross between Windwaker and Okami, but side-scrolling 2.5D style.

By the way, here's IGN's review: http://wii.ign.com/articles/873/873402p1.html

Also, Frontier has mentioned a sequel on their site, so I registered to be emailed with info about it. I hope so!

Bought this today. I haven't played much of it but it seems really cool using wind as the way to platform in the game. Nice calm music as well.
