I'm sure everyone has a game that no matter what comes out, or how many new games you get, you always go back to it. I was wondering what the RADmunity always goes back to playing?
Mine are:
FF8 (PS)
Halo (Xbox)
Quake 3 Arena (PC)
Counter-Strike (PC)
Guilty Gear (Multiple)
Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower (PSP)
BioShock (360)
Metal Gear Solid (PS)
Goldeneye (N64)
Dig Dug (360 Arcade)
Command and Conquer: Red Alert (PC)
Warcraft 3 and Frozen Throne (PC)
There are a few others, but I'll spare everyone a longer list.

Despite the psycho ex-lover analogy, I just can't seem to part with "Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion."

I always find myself going back to Age of Empires (2 or 3), C&C Red Alert 2 and C&C Generals. There's something about the ability to fire up the game and have 30-40 minutes of easy enjoyment that is just too darn hard to shake.
If I still had my N64 I would be adding Goldeneye to this list. That game was just the best and still held up well many years after it came out.

RIVER CITY RANSOM (NES) - I went crazy when it came out on Wii VC and then I wondered what the hell was wrong with me when I was a kid because I didn't remember the game being so easy.

I guess my games would be...
Halo, whichever version is newest at the time, so right now Halo 3.
Mario Kart, same rule as before.
Tetris
Counter Strike
Desktop Tower Defense
Elemental Tower Defense
I may like those last two so much because of Warcraft 3 though...

Not one mention of Diablo 2! I always go back to Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 for some reason.
On the consoles i'm always going back to Marvel Ultimate Alliance (360), Dark Cloud 2 (PS2) & Puzzle Quest (DS) for some reason.

Not one mention of Diablo 2! I always go back to Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 for some reason.
I was packing up my stuff and saw my Diablo 2 sitting under my monitor. Forgot to mention it and finally got around to updating my list. Recently reinstalled D2 to get around to playing it and finally finish through. I would also include Warcraft 2, so many fond memories that I still enjoy playing it. I also had a Goosebumps game from the 90's I'd play a lot too until I lost the disc. The Sims are kind of on that list too.

Since the original I've been addicted to whatever the current Civilization game is at the time. (CivIV:BTS right now)
And every few years I'll get the urge to play Final Fantasy 3/6

Resident Evil 4 should definitely be added to my list. Loved it on the gamecube, bought it again on the wii and still love it. That's definitely one of those games I'll pick up every few weeks.

It's relatively new but I can't stop going back to Call of Duty 4. I tried to move on, I really did. I thought the grass would be greener somewhere else...but no...I keep going back. I tell myself that I'll just do it once more, for old times sake...but after a few beers, I can't help but pick up the controller and hear those comforting words, "50, 000 people use to live here, now it's a ghost town." And the worst part? I don't even feel guilty afterwards.
