I've looked at it, but I am already playing and raiding end game content in WoW. I have watched a few videos, and I honestly dont know how the mechanics will work with the attacking and blocking. Might be ok when attacking and defending from a single person/npc .. but translating that into multiple oppenents .. either PvP or relative end game content would be kind of strange.

For me PvP is fun in WoW, and the organization and fun of end game raiding is what really keeps my subscription going.

I'll wait for the reviews and opinions of other MMORPG players to give feed back before I make a donation to AoC.

I just started the beta today. It seems ok so far, nothing revolutionary. The combat keeps you on your toes though. U cant just point and click and walk away.

I got it today and its pretty much a different game than WoW. It is really enjoyable and fun, the combat system is amazing in my eyes and very addictive.
It has some things that bother me like the trouble to friend someone.

Also I need a better pc since im running it at low, but even at low res it looks better than WoW which is cool.

I honestly dont want another MMO(friends have me playin WoW off and on) so i guess its good it isnt on Mac...but at the same time, damn them!

ive been playing for the last day or so, i really enjoy it, ive tried other MMO's such as WoW and EQ 1 back in the day and 2 kinda recently, i thought i even enjoy Tabula rasa but something seemed to be missing from them that i find in this game, not really sure what it is but non the less i enjoy it,
