Revision3's show Social Brew is one of the many "Killer Apps" that will move long online video watching into an everyday experience.

Irene - She's awesome... she relates well to the Gen Y crowd, and to those young GenX'ers..... She adds credibility and makes this show fun!
Neha, Moujon, Asian dude... great mix of diversity appealing to the exact audience that they need to! They are truly representative of the changing demographics of this country.

So why is this show Awesome? B/C so much money is being poured into social networking, people DO use it, the show is fun, and people WILL be talking about it.

Yup same here.

They need to make vast changes to the show if I am going to watch again..biggest change is dump the current host.

Biggest question is who is BK2007 the host herself, a b/f, a friend, a family member?

I honestly don't get why so many people feel so negative about Irene. Is it really based off that stupid Real World incident? People do realize that the whole thing was staged, just like everything else on Real World. Irene actually got sued by MTV for exposing their BS.

As for this BK2007 fellow, he/she does seem to have a little too much zeal. I don't think it's Irene, or anyone at Rev 3 though. This isn't G4 folks.

That said, I would like to offer some advice for BK2007.

Bring it down a notch dude. It's okay to be a fan, but let's not go starting flame wars over it.

Nope. Not because of that. It's because I find that her voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Plus, in my opinion, she is a horrible interviewer.

That is a joke that not many people get, but I did. It made me laugh and cry at the same time....

Yeah, that was a dark day for "The Screen Savers."

Well, this forum is the best place to express your feedback, you know they are coming here to see what to change/adjust/add/remove.

I for one would like it to stick around with some of the suggested comments above!

Woah. What happened? That must have happened after my provider dropped TechTV and I missed it :(

It either occurred shortly before, or after G4 laid off the old Tech TV staff, and removed the live studio audience. As you probably remember, the show used to have live calls. Well either do to the direction that the show was going, or the backlash that incurred after the layoff, no one was calling in asking for help. So in order to cover this up, G4's producers would get folks from around the set to call in and pretend to be viewers asking for help...and of course, praise the show.

I can't quite place the timing, but I do remember that it was Dan "Foo" Huard who let it slip. This cascaded across the internet as folks looked for validation. Joey provided some on his blog. Shortly afterwards the G4 lawyers stepped in and pretty much paid to silence Joey and anyone else who was speaking ill of the new-old-company.

Quick IP address check shows BK2007 is not anyone at Rev3 - but I do know the internet policy for the company that he is posting from (they are a client), and all I can say is ...

BK2007, be careful. Posting on Rev3 is not worth your job.
