Oh thank the lord. Some of the industries best developers are working on a violent gore fest of a game on Wii called Mad World.

Since I first saw it a few days ago and done by ex clover studios(Okami,Viewtiful Joe) and sin city look and x2 as violent as NMH I was hooked.

And Wes don't bother trying to upload vids as Sega has a team out shutting the vids down every time one is uploaded somewhere.

I'd love to get excited about this... but how the crap are they going to get this game through the various regulatory bodies?

As much as I want to be proven wrong (coz it looks teh awesum) I'm prepared to put on a beer bet that it won't get released in Australia... any takers?

It's funny you should mention that cause I say the same thing on 1UP Yours this week.

Comic violence should be fine. I think it'll be ok in the UK if the storyline explains the need for violence etc, which it sounds like it does. Certainly GTA4 is far more realistic with it's violence and that's allowed to go on sale. Even Manhunt 2 got through eventually and that's realistic sadistic violence.

I don't think it'll have a problem in the U.S. at least. I mean, is it any worse that other M rated games we get here? No More Heroes was pretty bloody in the U.S. version.
