So. I got this nice but old laptop which is fine for surfing, chatting, youtube, etc outside, or on the porch, whatever...
So I click a link to the rev3 main site (not the forums, they work fine)... home page loads, slow, but I'm used to that... but if I click a show link, it automatically loads and plays the high res version of the latest show... No load/play button, no Opt-in, basically. The site just assumes the visitor is using the latest and greatest. All I wanted to do was read about the new show, but had to reboot because it stalled my whole computer.
If I read about the show and like it, I will go to my main computer to either watch it or subscribe...
Does/can the site have a pref for users to stop this auto-load/play?

It only "autoplays" if you click on the "watch or download now" links. If you just click on any other link, it does NOT autoplay.

I have had it happen a couple times auto play when just looking at the random ep pages. I know I didn't click the watch now link because I never do.

You must've clicked on the "BIG" picture.. yeah.. that autoplays also.

It was actually around the time the new site launched when it happened to me so I figured it was a bug.
I always click the text link in the just released section.

cool. thanks. but the fact of the matter is it happened again when I went there though the main website and clicked on the pagelink. Maybe it's the default?

The "Big" picture on the main page will auto play if you click on it. The "Big" picture meaning the one with the rotating new shows.
