JoBlo has the exclusive Red-band (restricted) teaser trailer for The Happening and omg this looks insane!

This restored my confidence in this film! After reading 3 reviews of this film, one which was scathing, one which was placing it above Lady and The Village but below the others, and one which praised it - this red-band preview makes me think the film will be more like the latter!

Check it out

Holy shit! My only complaint is that I have a feeling that may have ruined some of the more "impactful" moments in the film. I might have to go the Canata route until it's released.

The tractor scene made me go "OH F**K" out loud.

Dude ..awesome trailer! My fear for the movie was that would be the opposite of that trailer. Now I cant wait to see it.

this makes it look sooooo much more intense than the other trailer. but i gotta say, if you were looking forward to it, you should probably just skip the trailer and check out the movie first.

Yeah, this trailer totally makes me interested now compared to the one I saw before. I agree, I'm going the Canata route.

It might start getting difficult to avoid this movie's marketing. I think Fox feels optomistic about it and will probably promote the hell out of it.

I guess only time will tell.

I just have to say I wasn't expecting what I saw in the trailer. With M.Night's pg13 rep on being able to still build tension with little to go off of... this may be something truly new from him and earning the R rating.

This is going to be the last thing I'm going to watch/read about on this movie, I'm going to keep this feeling.

Wow, the whole mood of this movie is different now. I thought it was going to be about aliens or invaders. The whole idea sounded a bit played out. This makes it a little more... interesting.

Best. Avatar. Ever!

Oh, and this trailer looks pretty rad, but I'm not getting my hopes up, Lady In The Water was so terrible it put a stain on all of Shyamalamalamalamalan's work for me, I just hope it's a return to form.

HOLY SHIT!!! That was fucking intense! This makes me wonder how The Last Airbender is going to turn out...

Oh, and I'm not gonna watch the IGN trailer because I don't want to get Cannata-ed.

The new trailers are miles better than the old, "Something happens that scares Marky Mark... feel his fear," trailers. Thumbs up. They have my money unless they manage to screw it up with overadvertising, and even then...
