So I got my Tilt a few weeks back, and have tried to get the mobile streaming site to work unsuccessfully. it tries to open the streaming video in real player, which unsurprisingly doesn't support it. i've installed other media players like TCPMP with FLV plugin and can't seem to find any way for the videos to open with something else that would, I would think, support it right off the bat. Anybody have any preferences as to what/how they stream the mobile versions of all the shows on their pocketpc/wm phone?

as a update, i hard reset the phone, and didn't let it load the AT&T crap ware, and now the phone is alot quicker. And, if i go the m.revision3.com i can say play, and it downloads the show and opens it in wm player, but i cant do the "stream" that i have seen on other phones like the iphone, button doesn't even show up.

Ideas?

i'm using opera mobile like i said in the bump, and it gives me the link to stream, however it tries to open it in realplayer, which doesn't support whatever format the streaming video is. i dunno if it's an opera problem, the phone just needs a codec, not sure. really wish someone here would offer some advice, as it seems it's not just me having problems...

You need a mobile browser that supports the .3gp format.

Opera Mini isn't one of them.

well, i hate pocket ie, so i guess i'll just be waiting until skyfire comes out, or unless i finally get my beta invite...

and for the record, opera mini =/= opera mobile ;)

and for the record, opera mini =/= opera mobile ;)Sorry - I know that. I use Opera Mini on my Crackberry. Its habit to call it that. Same end result though - Opera Mobile does not have .3gp support.

I have the HTC TyTN II (Kaiser) on AT&T, which is the UK brother. When I open the rev3 mobile page and stream a video it opens in a program called Streaming Media. I found a download link for you AT&T Tilt users that will install it!

This program also handles my YouTube videos when I watch them on the phone. Hope this helps. I verified the files, but I did not install them on my phone as I already have the program. Enjoy!
