still no one uses it... maybe if there were more than 3 people that were interested in reading...

Didn't that challenge end like a month ago anyways?

Wasn't there supposed to be a new one?

I just finished a great book, if you like Sci-fi, try Simon R Green's "Deathstalker" series.

It took me a while to read as I was only reading it on Fridays during my son's Karate class .. a no tech zone .. hahaha.

Didn't there used to be a poll? Like a couple books were picked, a poll was taken and at the end of some time a book was picked? I liked that concept back in the day. My other suggestion would be the TRS guys pick a book of the month and post it then we read. Kind of like Oprah's book club, but not a secret society trying to over run all sorts of media.

I don't read much at all, other than Terry Pratchett, and even then, I prefer audio or video. Less work.

Would anyone be interested in a new book club, probably for June? I think I'd start with a biography/autobiography/memoir month. I'll put up a few choices, we can all vote, then come June we'll all read and discuss. Feel free to give your yay/nay vote and any suggestions of what to include here. If we get a sufficient response, I'll post the thread of choices on Fridayish.

I'd be down for that. If that is your theme idea I'd like to throw my hat in for Steve Martin's recent autobiography "Still Standing" (think that's title) heard it was good. It would also give me an excuse to buy it and read it.

Okay, so here is what the timeline will be (if things work out like they are in my head)...

Thursday May 22nd: List of options posted.
Monday May 26/Tues. 27: Voting closed.
Sunday June 1: Discussion thread opens. It will go all month, so don't feel pressured to have it done if the timespan doesn't work for you.
