I was just wondering why the internet on my iPod touch is nowhere as fast it is on my laptop? Is it because there isnt enough CPU power?

Lord Jobs will smite you for your impertinence.I am a share holder ... he can smite me if he wants to, but I carry the "pass of the annual general meeting" that gives me protection.

I am by no means a "large" investor, but I added another 15 shares to my lot to take me to 200 shares even. At a cost average price of $151.48/share, I am about $6000 or 20% up. Take away 1/3 for tax, and thats still $4000. With the WWDC next month (9 June), and the 3Q Earnings report mid July, they are expecting AAPL to hit $220 plus fairly soon ... possibly nudgin $300 in the new year. If it hits $300, I am out ... and will have the cash I need to pay for my MBA (Masters Business Admin - though a MacBook Air is nearly as expensive).
Better than sitting in a bank account at 0.05%.

I can't help but agree that $24K was best spent on gaming the gullibility of others than... well, I've thrown more than that at Apple in various guises of Crapbooks just at home alone.

Do you actually attend that, or do you pass your vote off to one of the wealthier shareholders? My professor does that.

I still get the paperwork in the mail, and can either mail my votes in (like I did last time), assign a proxy, or let the default proxy do its work.

ya Apple messed up in the implementation
I've checked it with my local server and the speed is far lower than what it should be (slower than even 802.11b)
