Anyone pick this up this week. I've already put about 10 hours into it. Its everything I loved about the old NES and GB Final Fantasy's. Be in awe of my team of Dragoon, Viking, Magus, and Devout.

I want to get it, but I've heard it's hella-old-school difficult. Not sure I can handle it. No saves mid-dungeon, right? That's brutal.

So, instead, I'm rocking with the Elite Beat Agents. (but I'm sure I'll crack)

I haven't been in a single dungeon where I needed to save mid way thru. Its not that difficult. I'm about 40% through the game right now.

The game is epic. This is what a FF game should be. FFIII > FFXII

There is a quicksave feature that lets you save anywhere.

Hmm--every review I've read says you can save anywhere...except the dungeons.

Actually, you can only save on the world map, and you can quick-save anywhere but it quits you out of the game.

If its anything like the FF games for GBA, quicksave is a onetime only save. You can save and it will load up from that point then you lost that quicksave. So if you die before saving, you start at you last normal save point

I am loving ths game and it's not that hard but be warned this plays like an old school RPG just has 3D visuals.but the opening CG is as good as on a console..but this game is great and yeah you can only save on the world map unless you quick save but that save only stays if you keep the DS on or in sleep mode.

This game rocks.

I can't wait to play it, but my alter ego is a girly-girl... so I'm in debt from buying a lot of things... =\

I'd like to get it, though! I've played every other FF to date besides 11 and 12. I boycott 11, though... I just always envision FF to be played alone.
